I have been repairing saws for more then 5 years and been using mainly Stihl when I used this for a whole day clearing a field it really surprised me for the less cc"s and how easy to start its 2-3 pulls cold to start u will be happy after purchasing this model
Great saw! Easy to start. Not the fastest saw but the torque output is fantastic. It just keeps on cutting even when things slow down a bit or aren't perfect.
I really like this little saw so far. I think the build quality is excellent and although I do not have much run time on it, the power seems good. I also have a Timberwolf and this 620 is stronger in the cut. Thank you Echo for a quality reasonably priced saw.
Hands down best 60cc saw available, Great saw, pulls a 27-28” bar full comp/chisel as well as most 70cc's… If you're on the fence about which pro level 60cc to buy, the Echo 620 won't leave you wanting more. It's absolutely the best available for the price. Outside of the CS-590 (another great option, with less pro features) Echo makes a great product, I've got a 600p, 620pw, srm225 trimmer (16 yrs old) and blower that all start in 2 pulls.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for the larger trees! This is a great saw! It starts easy! With a sharp chain makes large trees easy! Has power to spare!! I do not regret this purchase at all! Great addition to my older CS-400
This is the third Echo saw I have purchased over the last 15 years. I still have my first two and I had never had to take them in for repair. They have only needed minor DIY repairs. They are rugged and dependable, at a much much better price than other brands.
I'm 72 years old and have heated with wood most of my life. My Partner R420 quit a few months ago and I replaced it with this Echo. Could not be happier. It gives up little or nothing to the Partner and is much easier to start. It came with a 24" bar and a full wrap handle (my first, but wonder how I got along without one) but I mostly use an 18" bar. It's a tad heavy but so well balanced that it's pretty easy to handle even for this old coot. I also run a Husqvarna 350 and two Red Max top-handles. The Echo is the biggest, and by far my favorite of all of them. Thought the Partner would take me to the grave, but this Echo will for sure!
I really like this saw!!! It arrived undamaged with all the parts intact. After assembly, I filled the oil and fuel tanks and pre-lubed the chain. I had no trouble starting the saw...it idled smoothly and had good, snappy throttle response. I tried the saw on some 20 inch thick eucalyptus logs that have been sitting in my firewood area for many months. The saw went through them nicely. I highly recommend this saw, and the price makes it even sweeter.
I bought this saw in mid may and i really like it. i have cut all of my firewood with and helped my dad on his tree farm falling timber. the saw runs great and has real good power.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a good saw for the money the saw is a little bit heavy the power and torque is really good it evens performs as good as 80cc saw
