Eckrich Deli Ham Off the Bone, Deli Sliced

The Echrich brand is a cheaper off-the-bone deli ham but it is just as delicious as a more expensive brand. When I want a sandwich, it will be a ham sandwich and it will be Eckrich ham in it. I love the taste and texture of it and thoroughly recommend it to anyone.

I love the off-the-bone ham! It tastes just like the bone-in hams I cook. The Deli slices it to perfect thickness for salads, sandwiches and wraps! I am able to warm over the stove with a slice of cheese to make a yummy grilled ham and cheese for lunch which always comes out delicious!

This is the best ham from the deli dept. It has the off the bone taste and texture of home baked ham and is marbled with a little fat. Good ham flavor and slices are not flimsy like some sliced meats from the deli. I have tried the other brands from the deli and they taste like highly processed lunch meat, far from the quality of thiis Eckrich brand. Great for sandwiches or with eggs for breakfast. The only con is that the Deli could be better at placing the label where it does NOT interfere with opening the bag. I have to peel off the label as soon as I get this home and place it on the center of the plastic bag. It also has very tiny printing of the date and other info that is microscopic.

Great Deli Ham, not to salty , but salty enough to be a great sandwich selection. This was not fatty, or greasy, it was really a great choice in my opinion. The taste was great, I paired it with sharp cheddar slices and sour dough, and it made the best sandwiches for a party,

ham is always good. the problem is when i order online it doesnt give you an option to how you would like it sliced. i unusually get a pound sliced thin when I'm inside the store. but when ordering online I cant do that, sooo i end up with the thickest slices ever!! Can someone please add this option while ordering from the deli..please?! Cheese is the same way, need options to choose from there also. Thank you in advanced!

This used to be my go-to for deli ham that has the taste and texture of real baked ham. Unfortunately, the quality has declined over the last few months, and there's a huge amount of fat around it so that almost every slice needs to trimmed by a third. Essentially paying the same for less product and lesser quality.

The people who cut this were very nice. I cut my finger on the display case and it was bleeding all over the place. The girl in the deli who saw it gave me TWO bandaids FOR FREE! She was nice, but there was fat in that ham!! The part that wasn't fat was good!

Too much fat, bland taste, expensive when considering quality. This is the first time I've considered actually returning this type of product. Put it in the trash. I've tried oither deli ham from this company as well as other meats, e.g. turkey, roast beef and pastrami, and they've all been fine.

Hard to review an item that the delivery people won't pick up for some reason. Walmart shows it in stock, but for some reason the delivery drivers always say it's unavailable with no substitute. If I had to guess, it's because they don't want to wait at the deli counter for it to be cut.

What I disliked about Eckrich Deli Ham Off the Bone, Deli Sliced. There was so much fat that it made it look unappetizing. Slices were way too thick. There needs to be an option letting the customer pick the thickness of the cut. We just could not use it for sandwiches. We tried pan-frying it. That didn't help. I threw out the pound of lunch meat. So disappointed and out of the cost.
