I love this deli meat Hard Salami, it is always just the right kind of salty and savory in a salami product. It is not over greasy, and it goes well on any kind of bread. I get it to get quick protein snacks with cheese, so it keeps me away from the cakes and the cookies. Very good price per pound.
I bought a couple pounds of this , thinly sliced, from the deli and used it along with , other meats and cheeses from the deli and made sub-style sandwiches with it for a summer get together with a large group of friends and family and I had not one complaint and several compliments.
I love salami but don't like the pepper or anything spicy, I looked at different brands with pictures and decided to give this one a chance and I loved it, even my husband mentioned how good this salami was, will continue to purchase, highly recommend, if you're looing for a salami that isn't spicy, than this one is it.
The item tends to get very slimy within a couple days like it's already been cut in advance and sometimes it taste varies. sometimes they're lucky and we get good and sometimes it's already slimy by the time we get it. are they able to cut that fresh?
I get the Walmart grocery delivery orders, all the time and very rarely do I have any issues... However the last 2 times, I have ordered hard salami from the deli for SPECIAL occasions its been messed up... Messed up in the sense, most of the hard salami was really tore at bad, by the slicer and I had alot of end pieces with the order... The first time I let it go, but then it happens again just recently, so I knew I had to say something... I seriously had to have someone, take me to another grocery store and buy more presentable hard salami for the special occasions, both times... Please Walmart do better, thank you...
The taste and texture was not like the hard salami. I am used to. The taste is what I would think be like chewing on soft wood that's the only way I know how to describe It... Used to be a good brand guess they changed it like they have done most things today.
I ordered her salami and my delivery driver brought me pepperoni but the tag on the bag says salami. This is the second time the first time they brought me a big roll of deli pepperoni, a nut salami so I guess don't order salami from the deli because you're gonna get pepperoni. The pictures I included both items are clearly pepperoni. Read the sticker on the deli bag clearly says HARD SALAMI this is ridiculous especially when you don't have a vehicle and have to rely on workers to shop for you for your delivery.. Walmart train your people better please
The meat was sliced extremely thick!! so thick that it was honestly inedible and had the texture and thickness of a hockey puck. Deli meat should be sliced consistently and according to standard deli thickness, and this was far beyond that. I spent money on products my family can't even eat, which is frustrating and wasteful. I use this service so I can make sure my kids have all they need for school lunches for the week as I own a business and work the weekends!! I'd appreciate either a refund or replacement, and I also hope the deli staff can be reminded to pay closer attention to slice settings and customer quality expectations because this isn't the first time this is happened, its actually happened several times throughout the years, it's just the first time I've complained about it.
So. I have been eating this brand since I was a week lad. I noticed every time I get it from Walmart that it tastes nothing like Ekrich salami. Its like I was sold another salami . This is not the first time I notice something I usually order from another store. I am not buying lunch meat from Walmart again.and I would suggest the reader not do it either.
Unbelievable! For the second, (or third,) time- I ordered delivery for my lunch meat and ALL were cut on a unbelievable thick setting! So you understand- some people request regular sliced- some thin, some shaved… and rarely people want it very thick for making antipasto salad etc… who ever is cutting meat is making sure to do as little work as possible to reach goal weight- and has no problem with inconveniencing you… the customer! Shame on this associate!! Is this how you would want to be treated? If this happens to you leave a review so you are heard and this employee can get “educated.”
