Eckrich Jalapeño %26 Cheddar Smoked Sausage links

A February 16, 2026

These Eckrich Jalapeño %26 Cheddar Smoked Sausage links are seriously so good. The cheddar is super melty and creamy, and the jalapeño adds just the right kick without being too spicy. They're juicy, flavorful, and super easy to throw on the grill or in a skillet. I've been getting them for years for quick, tasty meals!

My wife has stomach issues that does not tollerate a normal hotdog but does these smoked sausages. Air or skillet fried, a little onion and mustard of choice mskes this a delicious sandwich. The jalepeno is not overly spicey but just an occasional flavor snap.

The Dog Days of Summer will soon be here...

Susan May 25, 2026

With the Dog Days of Summer around the corner, I thought it was time for some Green Chile-Cheese Doggies. Here is a pooch made using frozen bread dough (or make your own bread dough), filled with Pepper Jack cheese and diced green chiles. His tongue is a slice of sausage, cut diagonally so it will be long. His nose is a raisin, and his eyes are one raisin cut in half and stretched along the cut edge. To make the dog's head, roll out a long oval, put a mound of grated Pepper Jack mixed with green chiles and the tongue on one end, then fold over the dough, cutting slits to shape the the ears and mouth opening - sealing the edges of both sides of the dough with dabs of water so that the cheese won't leak out when baked. Place on a silicone baking mat on a baking tray, cover lightly with plastic wrap, and leave in a warm place to rise. When ready to bake, brush the bread with a beaten egg mixed with a tablespoon of water. Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes.

Ecker's Is the Brand

WD December 31, 2025

Ecker's is the brand, if sometimes, some of them other's sausage-types, they hard to bite a chunk off of, maybe that's 'out of', but, they skin gets tougher a little. These Ecker's, the skin different, and easier to rip ya' a slug off the thang. Ain't taking nothin away from no one, it's all good. They're all good folks, but, sometimes, just sometimes .. Be safe.

Highly recommend!

Cynthia July 8, 2025

These are so delicious that we keep them on hand all the time! They're great for grilling out in the summer, and if it's raining or if we just want them at night, we can put them in the broiler and they are absolutely delicious! The jalapeño flavor is not too strong and it gives it the little tasty kick that our guests love!

BEST SAUSAGE THERE IS.

oldman November 1, 2025

they really hit it out of the park with these. they're delicious easy to prepare and I found out through my own ignorance they're they're good forever in the freezer. that is so true I had some that were 3 years past the due date and they still taste just as fresh as the day I bought them after I defrost them.

A little heat plus cheese, yea!

Rose November 1, 2025

I like very hot stuff, but this is very mild to me and gives me a different flavor from regular links. I will say though, if you can't take any heat at all, pass to another product just in case! This product works great as tasty "dogs"; with both potato and/or cabbage dishes; with pasta and even with beans, so very versatile.

Eckrich Jalapeno %26 Cheese Sausage is very good. Taste is delectable. I use it to make Gumbo and Sausage and Red Beans and Rice. Slightly fatty, but when slow cooked, most of the fat dissipates. I normally use the Market Day Brand fresh sausage, but when not available, this works just fine. I would recommend this item.

I am sure they were good but then when they wrapped for me in my order, they were hot. They were no longer code so I threw them away. I did not want to get sick. I called WALMART and told them and they refunded that item. I'm hoping this time I can make a good review and I can enjoy them..
