I've used this in clear, for repairing broken plastic auto brake light lenses. I've used it as an adhesive to stick house address numbers onto rocks. Many many uses aside from arts %26 crafts, which I believe is how most use it. Great product, when you need a small amount of construction adhesive but don't need to open a whole caulk-gun sized tube.
I needed white glue and have always loved e6000 glue. This stuff is the best glue out there. It does have a strong odor, so be aware of that and make sure you use it in a well ventilated area. But, this stuff is amazing. It takes a while to dry, but once it's dry, it's pretty much permanent until the end of time.
E6000 worked as advertised. No mixing, no superglue oder. Sole was coming off my HobiBear sandals (close t half way). Followed the directions. No mixing or cutting of an applicator tip. Applied the product. Clamped the surfaces together and waited the recommended cure period. Have now worn them several times. Bond seems strong.
Great adhesive for multiple surfaces; have tried on a resin bird that fell off a lamp, a plastic keychain that's top snapped, several metal toy car doors %26 bumpers that have fallen off - everything has stayed put! Very strong smell, so use in ventilated area %26 cap immediately after use!
Well, I've heard nothing but good things about this glue. So yesterday, since the weather was fairly nice in the low 60s, I have a sink pedestal and I was gluing a ceramic bowl to it for a birdbath. I hope it's stuck. We will see, but I know that it was easy to apply and it seemed like it was working, so I still would recommend the glue. My project may have just been a difficult project or some thing, but I do think the glue is very good.
This stuff is genuinely industrial strength and works like a charm on all sorts of materials, but I use it for metal to colored glass. The white color is a nice touch, it makes the colors of the glass more vibrant. I've been using this for years, but just tried the white one for the first time.
The glue itself works great. Been using it for years and it holds up well. The only reason for knocking off a star is the frustration of different prices for different colors. I would have preferred to buy the clear or black version but both were more expensive than the white. They're all fundamentally the same E6000 adhesive so I see no justifiable reason for different prices based solely on color. Really hope that's not the situation when I go to buy the next tube otherwise I may have to reconsider and consider other purchasing options.
This is a great crafting glue it just didn't work for the project I was just doing but I have used it in the past. Just wish it would stick a lot quicker.
It's too runny, and drying time is too long. I understand that it take 24 hours to harden, but it least should hold things together after a reasonable time if untouched. I had to hold plastic items I tried to attach for at least five minutes. Did I get a defect product, I don't know, since this is my first time to use this product, but I'm not happy. Horrible smell and cancer warning are another negative side.
The picture they show is of the gym outside of the front gate. It looks like they threw it at the gym door I never received the packages. I went to check, but they were not there. That's why they have the gate code to call me to enter. This is the second package. I have ordered and not received that has been thrown at the security gate.
