Eco-Friendly Resealable Compostable Food Storage Bags (Medium)

Looking at the box and finding no ridgy places to cut off the filmy wrap, I was disappointed. Until I found the perforations every 6” or so, just like paper towels! Now I can’t wait to finish off all our Saran and replace it with plant-based cling wrap. Way to go, Responsible Products!

I have several of these products and love that you are making compostable products.  The cling wrap is very clingy and works as well as any of the major non-compostable plastic wraps.  The only thing I miss is a cutter.  The sheets are perforated but that means you need to always use the same sheet size.  I understand why there isn't a cutter as that would make for waste that wouldn't biodegrade.  So it's a minor inconvenience.

These products are as functional and strong as other brands, and it's great to have guilt free plastic! My only disappointment is that the cling wrap can't be microwaved.  Although they cost a little more, they're definitely worth it.  Think of all the horrible plastic pollution in the world and use the responsible products!

I really hate to write this review because I wanted to love this cling wrap so much. Unfortunately, while I do love all other products I have purchased from Responsible Products, the cling wrap was hard to use, it got stuck to itself and required two people to be able to unroll it and use it. That said, if you did manage to get it on the container, it clung and stayed put really well. I hope this product will be improved because I don't want to use plastic wrap ever again!

This product is excessively clingy. You can't measure your own amount of product, it is pre-partitioned (but not well). When you somehow, finally, get it to all unwrap at the same time (which actually takes a long time because it rips VERY easily) around the tube, you then try to rip it at the partition, where it, again, takes forever because it rips perpendicularly in the wrong direction at least 3 times before you've completed. You're then left with many unusable, small pieces of wrap with lots of rips in them and the next one also unusable because, again, it already has rips in it. I guess it would be possible to just cut it with scissors, but that'd be an Olympic event because it is ridiculously clingy (and assumes you have somehow unwrapped it from the roll without ripping it). So, long story short, this is not easy to use and I only keep it because it is compostable.

I purchased the compostable cling wrap. I loved it the first 2 weeks and then it became so tangled I could no longer use it. I tried to untangle it, but it was impossible.Unfortunately, it was a waste of my money...so sad as I was hoping to like it and help the environment in the process!

This product is not worth the money. Way too thin. Was impossible and frustrating to use we ended up throwing it away.

It's a lot thinner than most cling wraps.

I truly wanted to like this item! Son is COO of Black Earth Compost in my state and we are passionate about reducing plastic use. This product is too thin, sticks to roll, impossible to dispense easily and tears in use. I diligently and gently used as much as I could to really give it a chance but I now have a mostly unused roll that's tarred and too stuck together to finish using. Very disappointed as we faithfully use many cups, plates and bowls from you. More R and D needed to improve this item.

Think of the worst plastic wrap experience and this is what I've gone through with this cling wrap. I've used half the roll and I still have not been able to pull a clean un-torn length out of the box. It sticks together and tears all the way through every time. Love all the bag products. Hate this wrap. will not buy again.
