ecobee EB-STATE3LT-02 3 lite - 7 Day Programmable Smart Thermostat W/Touchscreen

Just had this Ecobee installed by our HVAC Co. and the features are amazing. Looks great on the wall and knowing we can control the Vacation house from anywhere using my cell phone is the main reason we bought it. Can't comment on the installation other than the technician had no problems and praised us for choosing this brand instead of the nest, etc. (It is hard wired to the furnace and requires no batteries, so that may be a challenge to install if electrical wiring is not your strength.) For us it was worth every penny.

Easy to install and works perfectly for our needs .as elderly customers its very useful to be able to adjust house temperature from our phones and central unit .replacing an older unit (1993) that had stopped working life is so much easier now .

This is our first smart thermostat and we are enjoying it a lot, so far. This replaced the thermostat that has been in the house, since the 90s. Installation instructions were pretty straightforward. One thing that I was not expecting to be an issue is our whole house humidifier. The installation of that tied into our furnace really made the wiring different. Luckily, after following the wires around, I found that our “G” wire was capped at the humidifier and wasn't being used. So I untwisted it from the furnace side and plugged it in. Viola! Works perfectly. My wife got the thermostat for free from her work's health benefits plan, so it was a no brainer to upgrade to this. I will say though, after some more time playing with this and seeing how well it's going to work for us, we'll probably upgrade to the premium one. There is a lot more that I'd like to do with it. Can't argue with free though.

I love these thermostats. I have one in our current home set up with room sensors. I have 3 in our lake home for the zoned heating. They make it all so easy to program, check on things when we are away, and to warm up or cool down the house before we arrive.

The Ecobee thermostat was fairly easy to program. There is a bit of a learning curve, but nothing overwhelming. The display is good and the units appear to work as advertised. I purchased the Ecobee lite. I did not think that I needed the units with all of the bells and whistles. This unit works great and it is competitively priced. I recommend Ecobee.

Hired 2 certified electricians to install both said, product had power. Walmart wouldn't let me exchange product. I reached out to seller no response. I made the mistake of purchasing from a 3 party vendor from Walmart. Read vendor reviews before purchasing.

Beware: seller will send you the wrong item. I ordered an Ecobee 3 Lite and received an Ecobee Smart Thermostat Lite instead. This is not the same product.

This is not EB-STATE3LT-02 that has been discontinued. It will not match your previously purchased product. Ecobee has messed the bed by listing at least 2 new products with this discontinued model number. Unless you hold it in your hand and physically verify it is identical, you can't trust an Ecobee listing to be the correct product. Ive ordered this EB-STATE3LT-02 from 2 different places and received different products from both sites. This has soured the brand for me.
