I love my Eco bee thermostat! It looks great! I've had it for 2 months. I love that I can control it from my phone. The Eco setting saves me money. It's very responsive. I had to dig deep to figure out where all the settings were as the app isn't very user friendly until you figure that out. The wall unit is quite user friendly.
Don't use any other brand!!! This is the best one on the market!!!! Easy to hook up and a very friendly easy surface and the app runs smooth and is also very easy to use. Had many features that perform flawless. I highly recommend this smart home thermostat!
Installation instructions could have been better
Replaced 2nd Nest that broke with ecobee and haven't regretted it yet!
Love the product and very easy to install with the step by step from ecobee website.
Easy to program. Efficient device. Customer service is helpful and friendly.
great product, very user friendly
Liked the air quality readout. This is my second ecobee, easier to set up than first but humidity seems to read too high than my other gauges.
We switched to the Ecobee thermostat when Nest discontinued support for their first and second generation thermostats. The Ecobee hardware is good quality. However the functionality of the control app generationally inferior to the Nest app. Our major requirement is to have remote access and control during long periods away from home. While this is possible with the Eccobee product, it requires multiple steps for each of our five thermostats. In our case what I could do from the Nest Home Screen with one step, now requires three steps for each unit .... fifteen steps through multiple screens to basically set and hold an away temperature, the same to reverse and set a home temp. There are automation functions but they really are designed for a home that is occupied full time. The home/away/sleep functions never seem to really learn that the house isn't occupied and therefore always wants to turn the heat on at some point during the day. Even those you may also be upset with google for pulling the rug out from the first gen themostat products, if I had it to do over I'd go with the new Nest units because of the superior remote control available in their app.
Ran my ac way too much. Humidity sensor is way off on the thermostat.
