This egg really does the trick
I was desperate with this very expensive "high efficiency LG front loading washing machine that left all my clothes with a yucky smell. I've tried all the "clean the machine" tricks, extra rinses, even a second wash. The ecoegg actually works. It makes no sense to me, given there is no detergent used, but I believe the egg being tossed around the machine helps to loosen the dirt/smell from the clothing and the machine. The little pellets leave a subtle clean fragrance that disappears with the drying of the clothes. And WAY cheaper than buying detergent, and all that other stuff I've added to my wash. I got the full 70 loads and more per package of pellets. And the washing machine stays clean smelling.
