I failed to do my homework before purchasing this eco filter pitcher. It DOES NOT filter my well water! I need a true filter to remove iron, lead and Mercury. This does not. I'm giving it to a city friend to just remove her chlorine smell. Read before you buy!
The water in my area is horrible. Your filters keep it around Zero for a long time. Bottled water is contaminated also, so I run the water through your filters.
This is perfect for my daily water intake, when the water is gone I'm done for the day, refill it for the next day. The water tastes great
We really like this pitcher! Water drains fast and the taste is great! Very pleased with Zero Water Echo filter! Easy to put filter in and takes no time to have fresh clean tasting drinking water!!
Better than tap, but not as good as the original zero filtering system. We went back to the original pitcher & filter. Sorry, Earth.
The ECO Filters dose well on smell and chlorine taste, dose not do near as well as the original Zero water on other metals and deposits. Also hard to get replacement filters.
It doesn't do anything for TDS. I had assumed that since it was offered by zero water. I haven't used it yet and probably won't until I move somewhere else where the water supply is better.
I did not realize what this pitcher did when I purchased it, not realizing it only filtered chlorine. My tap water here in Buffalo, NY measured 122ppm and eco filter only took it to 90. So I went and purchased a regular Zerowater pitcher online. Now I have two but mainly use one.
I soaked the filter and filled the pitcher twice as directed, but being careful I nonetheless seemed to break the tiny catch for keeping the lid on - not a big problem. But adding water for the final it just flushed right through. I used my tester device to check the contaminants and it read 140, not the 6 recommended for the non-eco filter system to replace filter. NOT IMPRESSED. I went back to the non-eco filter system.
What exactly does this thing filter? TDS shows not much. What's the point if you have a 5 stage? If I could return this I would. It was a waste of money
