This is super cute, very sturdy notebook. The front iridescent cover is just really fun! I'm impressed by the tare away pages , though you can easily tear pages from the seam as well. The paper thickness is medium. Writing with pencil or pen doesn't go through the pages but marker does. Solid notebook find that normal sized and easy to bring places.

Light weight notebook with a cute cover. Pages tear out easy enough but not smooth edging from the tear. Pencil erases fairly well. There is just a slight show of what was previously written but not as bad as it could be. Price is normal for a more colorful, designed composition notebook.

With a marker it's a little different and just depends how hard you press on it as well. It's easy to open up and write in one side without the composition book trying to close on you. It's easy to carry as well or put in a binder.
