Ecological Formulas Vitamin C-1000, 90 Capsules

This is the only vitamin C I will take. I am highly allergic to corn, and this one is corn free. And I very much like this brand as well.

Good price of vitamin C, good quality, very important to use daily, for gingivitis, anxiety, back pain, osteoporosis, etc. Better 5 grams daily.

I liked it because it is derived from tapioca. Does not contain any nasty fillers. Overall good Vitamin C.

My nutritionist suggested this form of Vitamin C and I continue to use it especially since this is one vitamin considered to be important. He explained that this form from tapioca is easier on alot of people's systems. I usually take this 2-3 times a day since this is water soluable.

I've used this vitamin C on and off for years. It is hypoallergenic because it is made from tapioca. It is sufficiently high dose for addressing a viral illness, there are no junky ingredients or unnecessary fillers, and all around it performs as expected, no surprises. I like Ecological Research brand -- they have always had reliable products that perform as expected.

A great option for vitamin C when citrus sensitivity is an issue. The non citrus formulation enables me to take a higher dose for maximum therapeutic effect. For high sensitivity days, the quality of no difficult odours to deal with makes it really easy to take consistently. And it's gentle on my stomach.

After a long period of trialling and erring I finally discovered that my sudden bouts of sneezing, with the accompanying production of excessive mucous, would happen every time I took a corn based Ascorbic Acid. I was so happy then when I found this alternative Vitamin C made of tapioca starch which, initially, I could take without suffering the usual reactions. Unfortunately I eventually started having very bad stomach aches and indigestion, and when I stopped taking this unbuffered vitamin C my pains were gone. My four stars are to the company for offering this alternative form of ascorbic acid and to the good quality ingredients. But I just wish iHerb would start stocking the buffered version of this ascorbic acid by Ecological Formulas, which I have now found elsewhere.
