It's small enough to just pop on the counter or somewhere out of the way. It has flashing green and red indicators to tell you what the charge is currently which is very helpful.

It's compact and has a good length cord. You simply slide the battery onto the unit until it clicks. It is simple to remove the battery by pressing the two buttons on the side, and it unclipped from the unit and was ready to use. I was quite surprised how quickly the battery charged. It is also lightweight and durable.
