Easy to assemble. Adjustable height and cushioned seat. Handles fold down for travel. Safe and sturdy. So much easier to use than crutches for a below the knee cast. Easy to maneuver with hand brake. I added a stroller cup/phone holder which came in handy.
It doesn't wobble, feels very sturdy. Wheels are smooth. Only problem is that we had to order extra padding.
So much easier than crutches or a walker especially if you've been around long enough to chew up your shoulders. Rolls easily. Watch your balance. Don't think your at Le Mans! Be careful you don't roll over your good leg's toes!
I was desperate to find something to aid me in walking with having a cam boot on my left foot. I was going out of the country on a cruise and those ships are massive and a cane would not be enough and the ports with the amount of walking so I ordered one of the knee rovers. It was an answer to my prayers and it actually arrived a day earlier than was estimated which was even better!
This scooter fit the bill for a scooter in my small apartment. It is easy to maneuver in small spaces. And the price was right.
Using a scooter was recommended by my doctor who made a surgery on my foot. The most affordable model I found on-line was at Walmart - just about $130 (comparing with other models that could cost $200. The product was from Wheelchairs Plus Mobility. Promised (by the web site) delivery time was about 10 days, but I've got it in a week, just before the surgery, which was a convenience. The vehicle was easy to assemble, and proved very useful in my situation, as I can free my hands to make some homework. I found it quite sturdy - more than I need for my completion. As a result it is a bit heavy, which I consider OK - safety first. One drawback that I found is a break - it seems weak; one needs to pay attention. So far the scooter works for me just fine.
Great to get around on smooth surfaces. Easily becomes unbalanced if you hit a crack, gravel in parking lot, mulch that's spilled on sidewalks. I had this same scooter 4yrs ago and this one seems a lot more unstable. Handle bar needs to be wider for better control. Brakes when locked don't always work. Great for around the house.
Not good in a mobile home. Turn space to big for getting around in hallway to restroom or bedroom. Brake doesn't hold. Very unstable going down our ramp. I won't have my surgery on other foot until I get something different to use. Very disappointed
This knee bike is not very safe to use. It flips very easily and the bike flips you over the handlebars. To the ground or floor l fall. If the back wheels touch something as you are going the flip is going to happen. A bike that needs to be replaced with something else. I have been hurt all three times.
Scary rerurned
