EcoSmart Electric Tankless Water Heater 18 kW

I love this tankless. This is replacing my 7 year one, and i didn't give any maintenance. I have save so much money on my bill with this tankless. i recommended to EVERYONE....

Love this tankless water heater! The electrical was the hardest part since I didn't have the appropriate breakers but it's so nice and out of the way! Now we'll see how it does with the electrical bill :)

I liked the price. It replaced an identical unit so it went right into place. I wish the manufacturer did rebuilds for these units. The two units that I have replaced probably only need panel replacement to return to working order.

So this is the same model as we had when we bought our home. But, the flow meter assembly has been updated and is no longer a plastic insert which is where our old one failed twice. Infinite hot water with this and it keeps up even when the dishwasher and sink are running as well as the shower. the adjustability with the temperature of the water is fantastic. Allthough I wouldn't recommend using it at its highest setting as it gets ridiculously hot. Definitely recommend.

I dislike a leaking tank, or trying to move a huge heavy empty water heater out of the electric room. I do like the speed of hot water reaching our shower in 4 seconds, the vanity in 3 and sink faucet in 4 minutes and the temperature stays the same. And our 18,000 kw Eco Smart heater weighs 12%23, and measures 16" h, 12" w and 4" in depth. most handywomen or men can install in 2-3 hrs when you get all the parts needed. Yea!

So far I really like it. My water gets hot quickly and I especially love not having to worry about water leaking from my old gas water heater. And I'll never have to manually start my new water heater every time the gas power gets low in the winter. My new one is electric and I'm very excited to get a lot of good years from it.

This is the third Ecosmart tankless hot water heater, I've bought, in the last ten years, for different locations. From the 11 to the 27 models, I've never been disappointed. They are quality heaters, taking up a tiny amount of space, compared to their large tank models. I gained back a whole closet of space back, by installing this and the other two and highly recommend this brand.

I just purchased an older home and it was remodeled in 2018. They installed the Eco 18. I personally do not think it's large enough to run all Id like to run at one time. However, when taking a bath…well, I cant because the water does not get hot enough! I have it set to the highest 140 degrees. It's all I have running. Maybe Im missing something??? Any feedback would be appreciated. If it's an error on my end id be glad to change my overall rating to a 5.

Great while it last. We are on our SECOND unit in 7 years. Sadly we are taking lukewarm ( more like luke cold) showers in this very chilly October morning. The latest unit went out. almost 3 year to the day of the last one. Unacceptable! Unfortunately, we now need to find the funds to purchase a new one and hope it's better than the one we have.
