EcoTools Classic Foundation Makeup Brush, For Liquid and Cream Foundation, Streak Free Buildable Coverage, 1 Count

I have had a couple make-up make-overs, and when it came to brushes, the prices where just too much for me to consider after totaling up the cosmetic prices. I started shopping reviews online, and saw good reviews for this product, so for under $10.00, I though I'd give this one a try. Not disappointed, and sorry I didn't try it before now. The trick is to dot your concealer first, under/over your eyes and on those trouble spots, and then dot your foundation in "W" patterns over your forehead, cheeks, across your nose and under your nose, along your chin line and then gently blend, blend, blend using stippling and short strokes. Twice a week wash your brush out with mild soap and water and dry with clean face cloth, and reshape the bristles and lay it down on the same face cloth to air dry. Not a big deal or requiring any huge effort.

Love this brush! It feels like I am painting on my foundation, which in my case is what I need. Before this I had an expensive brush and I felt as though the foundation got stuck in the bristles. I bought the rest of this line in brushes

I used to believe buying all these different brushes was a waste of money. I recently started wearing makeup again and this was among a few brushes I did purchase. I am really liking using this brush. It just brushes on my tinted moisturizer so well. Yes, I could use my fingers, but why? No need to worry about getting makeup on other items, clothing, cloths, towels etc and no need to wash my hands again after applying my foundation/tinted moisturizer. Really like it for feathering makeup down my neck area. It's cool that the bristles don't get messed up/clogged with makeup. I don't know why or how, just know that they don't. I will wash it about once a week, because even though I can't see it, there has to be traces.

I originally got a set of these EcoTools brushes for my daughter. She loved them so of course I had to try them for myself. This flat foundation brush is wonderful. The powder foundation goes on nice and even...No streaking or clumpy looking spots. I like the way the brush looks but wish it came in other color selections. The brush bristles are nice and soft so they don't feel scratchy against my skin like some other brushes. I also really like the fact that the EcoTools brushes are made with some recycled materials so I feel like I am doing my part in the whole recycling thing. The handle is made of bamboo so it has a really nice feel to it. Smooth and not rough. On the packaging it did state that this brush works with powder or cream foundations but I haven't tried it with the cream foundation yet. My daughter did try it with the cream foundation and said she liked it. The brushes all come in this really nice pouch that you can keep them in for storage. I would recommend this brush for all the people out there that like a nice soft bristle and great coverage for their foundation.

I am reviewing the ECOTOOLS, Bamboo Foundation Brush. The products made by ECOTOOLS are carefully constructed using soft "cruelty free" bristles, recycled aluminum, and bamboo. This company is made up of environmentalists. They truly care about our planet, Earth and want to do their part in improving and protecting it. I find that admirable in this day and time. I cannot fail to mention that they also use "cruelty free" materials as well. In ECOTOOLS "cruelty free" products. I feel the company's commitment to end animal suffering is at the Forefront. I really appreciate any company, especially cosmetics, that take this kind of stand. Besides make-up brushes, this company also produces hairbrushes, eye lashes, and bath products. I will be trying some of these in the future. This ECOTOOLS, Bamboo Foundation brush, is used to apply make-up evenly and smoothly. It works well to conceal under eye circles and to even out the coloring under the eye. This brush works great with liquid or cream foundation. It is also tapered for those small tight areas like around the nose. The brush itself is made from a synthetic material, that is very soft and attractive looking. The handle is made from bamboo and looks expensive. The prices however, are extremely lower than most of the leading brands. I reviewed a Multi-Task brush and Four Piece Tool Set prior to this review. I do not know why but I completely " FORGOT " to mention this important " FACT "about the ECOTOOLS brushes. All the brushes can be WASHED and CLEANED. All that is required is rinsing thoroughly with warm water then applying a small amount of MILD soap. I use baby shampoo myself. Rub the brush between your fingers to remove the make-up and the rinse well. Be careful NOT to wet the metal ring that holds the bristles and the bamboo handle, as well. Rinse until all the soap is out of the brush. Take a soft cloth to get the excess water out and then let it air dry. This should give your brush an extended life. With one of the brushes I previously reviewed ECOTOOLS, provided a fabulous roll up storage pouch. It has 12 spaces of various sizes for brush placements. The pouch is an attractive earthy brown color with a shiny copper trim that appears to have leaves on it. Inside is a coordinating neutral tan color lining. The spaces for the brushes have various adjectives like; flawless, glow, smooth, buff, and luminous. All of these words can be associated with beauty. In this case, your face and how it looks after you have applied your make-up with an ECOTOOL brush (s). You should look for this pouch as a perk that comes with a brush. I recommend that you try this Bamboo Foundation brush. You'll probably go back to the store buy some of the other brushes.

Is that not stressful if your foundation brush don't do the job correctly and you are on the run in early morning? yes indeed .. that why having the right tools help you to speed up the make up process with the results you expecting. I used many of the EcoTools Bamboo brushes in the past, and this one is one of my favorite . It have oval half flat shape that allow you to work your foundation nicely especially around the eyes , nose, mouth. I use it with mineral foundation as well with liquid. Great for contouring your face. The result is nice and flat skin surface after the application , good for re touch-ups or for canceler , helping speed the process a lot, while also making it easier to apply and blend your foundation, its too soft and luxurious to not to use. The long (5 inch) handle allow you to balance the brush nicely in your hand or store in your high make-up brush cup. Finding a foundation brush that works is a bit tricky. Some eat up so much of the foundation without providing much coverage. Other brushes are too stiff and hurt your face. This brush delivers the best of both. It has soft luxurious yet cruelty free bristles in a durable, lightweight, bamboo handle that delivers great coverage. It covers problem spots, such as rosacea, dark circles and acne with ease as well.

I use this to apply my Cover Girl Outlast makeup--works perfectly. I clean it with mineral oil and cotton circles, then when no traces of makeup show up on the cotton circles I use liquid soap to get rid of the oil on the brush. Air dry overnight and I can use it again in the morning. I clean the brush once a week.

I'm new to this makeup stuff I just started wearing makeup at 23 to cover my acne scars. This brush is to small for my liquid foundation I can't really do circular motions like I want to. The brush is soft and I love how it's recyclable. I will not be getting rid of it I will just use it around my eyes not on my whole face.
