Definitely impressed with Ecotools makeup brush sponge shampoo. I’m in my late 50’s and lazy about cleaning my makeup brushes because it is so hard. Bought a fancy electric brush cleaner and sent it back. Tried various other things but they never really came out clean. This one was scary good. Haven’t cleaned my brushes for at least 6 months. I use them 6 out of 7 days a week with liquid foundation and cream blush. I had to reapply and rinse several times but I could also see the makeup rinse away. Next time I will take before and after pics. Wasn’t expecting it to turn out so well. Highly recommend.

This works so great! VERY effective in getting my makeup brush and sponge clean, looking just about new! I thoroughly wash mine with this product once a week, as instructed on the bottle. Will be continuing to purchase this gem in the future and I highly recommend it!

I actually use this to clean my strip lashes. Sometimes I just put a bit in my palm with the lashes and warm water. Sometimes I get a little container and soak several pairs in water and this cleaner overnight. Either way does a great job. I started buying this after I was buying a foam cleaner on Amazon and it was a teeny bottle and it didn’t seem to last long. It smelled good but it cleaned about the same but again it didn’t last. So I looked for something else and this is what I found and I’m sure it would work great on brushes and whatever else it’s made for, but it does work on strip lashes. I put on and take off daily. I have not noticed any residue there’s no smell or fragrance to this cleaner. It is a gel type cleaner versus a foam. That is probably why it lasts longer and I do feel like it cleans better than the foam cleanser I was using (not same brand just comparison).

This is a very good brush cleaner I was really surprised because I normally buy the expensive kind from my brush or makeup company but I'm glad I tried it. It gets my brushes clean I only wish they sold it in a bigger size.

I like this product to clean my makeup brushes. I use it along with a makeup brush cleaning pad and it gets them very clean. This is my second time purchasing the product

The cleanser that I was previously using for my brushes really wasn’t working well, so I had a lot of buildup. My first try with this didn’t help much either then a got the idea to give the brushes a quick soak. Put just enough of the shampoo to cover the makeup stains and about 10 minutes later, my brushes look the way they did when I bought them! Now that I’ve got my brushes clean I think weekly cleaning with this product will do the trick without soaking!

What I like is it doesn't bubble up and no scents and rince well. I usually buy this product at target but at Walmart it was much cheaper this time.

I really only got this for the cleaner and so far I’m loving this product, I've only used it once but I love how it’s on the more natural side and actually cleans my brushes!

It's very easy to use, especially with a hand-held bumpy rubber brush cleaning tool. Just spray it on the tool and rub the brush around on it. You will see the makeup/blush come out of the bristles very easily. I used it to wash a small blush brush that hadn't been cleaned in a while. Rinsed under cool running water and I dried it flat on a tissue on the counter. Worked great and I am very happy with it.

didn't clean as thoroughly as I expected. comparable to other cleaners I've used on makeup brushes prior ( i.e. bar soap,shampoo) i expected better cleaning of my makeup brushes
