Easy set up
I just paired this WH57 lightning detector with my new Ecowitt GW1200 gateway, and the setup couldn't have been easier—it connected seamlessly in seconds! The Ecowitt app is fantastic, very user-friendly, and packed with great features. One of my favorite parts is that you can easily tie this sensor into the Weathercloud network so the public can view the data too. Talk about perfect timing: I live in Louisiana, and we had some thunderstorms rolling through the area today. As soon as I got this sensor mounted and powered up, it instantly started registering the lightning strikes with incredible accuracy. It's awesome seeing it work in real time right away. If you want a reliable lightning detector to expand your weather setup, this one is an absolute home run!
