This has been a really solid addition to my kitchen, especially since I drink a lot of ice water throughout the day (habit from growing up in Florida). There are a couple features that I think impressed me overall. One of them is the self-cleaning function. It makes maintenance super easy (which is nice considering I already have a humidifier and air purifier that require weekly maintenance). The app control is another big plus for me. It’s straightforward in terms of use and makes it easy to start or monitor things without needing to take a trip to the kitchen. I also connected it to Alexa without any issues, and voice control works great (I haven’t tried Google, but I’d expect similar results). The TDS water quality monitor is a feature I didn’t think I’d care about, but it’s actually really neat. It lets you know if your water is within a good range or if you should switch to filtered or distilled. Since I already use a home water filter, mine has been consistently in a safe zone, which is reassuring at least. I think if you live in an area where the water is really hard or something, it might be best to use distilled/filtered water from the grocery store. Performance-wise, it does exactly what you’d want. It produces plenty of (chewable, if you have a bad habit like me) nugget ice. It's would be great for families or anyone who uses a lot of ice daily, and it keeps up easily with my own usage. A couple of things to keep in mind: it does take up a fair amount of counter space, so it’s probably not the best fit for smaller kitchens. And while it’s not loud, there is some noticeable noise when it’s running. But nothing that feels disruptive. Overall, if you have the space and plan to use it regularly, it’s a really convenient and well-designed machine. It's worth the price, in my opinion.
