Edelbrock E-Street Performer SBC Power Package Top End Kit, Satin Finish, Automotive Specialty Parts

I was surprised at how quick this was at my door , 2 days. Has everything I needed to give my 350 a little bump in HP. Will repost once install is completed. It is a bit cold up here in MN currently.

Simple install every thing correct put it in my 84 K 20 and made that an 350 scream. Very good kit Elderbrock did their home work in this one.

Installed on a 77 Monte Carlo 350ci bored .060 over. Runs great. I guess my only gripe is the gasket kit is terrible. The header gaskets are terrible. Must of been a bad cut or something but they left a thin string on the bottom side that broke easily. This was on both sides. Also their valve cover gaskets are cork, with a sticky coating on them that acts as an adhesive and makes it almost impossible the take the valve covers off without breaking them. I had to buy Mr. Gasket header gaskets cause the edelbrock ones leaked, and fel-pro valve cover gaskets. Other than that the parts themselves are good quality. Car runs great. I would recommend buying just beware of the gasket kit. Note: It would of been nice if they included gasgasinch or rtv silicone gasket maker for the end seals, timing cover ect. So it would really be all you need.

Recently received this top end package and I'm pretty surprised to find a good amount of missed burrs on these heads. Every bore for the pushrods has burrs from the machining process still on the heads. This package is touted as ready to install directly out of the box. Every other machined surface of these heads is edge broken and deburred and honestly this is pretty disappointing. It's easy enough to knock them down myself but how many people inspect them that closely. No one wants metal flakes in their engine so I'd honestly advise anyone buying these to watch out for this. It really leaves a bad taste in my mouth considering everything else is so beautifully manufactured. With a lot of other edges looking to be broken by hand how do you miss this? Hopefully this was just a quality oversight.
