Edifier 4001352 R1700BT 66-Watt-RMS Amplified Bluetooth Bookshelf Speaker System

Came 48 hours after order, well packaged. Bluetooth connections to my PCLinux OS computer was done in under 5 minutes. I had been concerned that if Bluetooth did not work with Linux, as many do not, I would need to get a mini plug to RCA adapter since the speakers only have RCA and Bluetooth inputs but the package came with an adapter. I'm currently using Bluetooth and will unless it becomes a problem. I can't speak to audio quality, it seems fine to me but my 79 yo ears aren't up to audiophile standards. The remote is a nice feature to have if I ever need to take the speakers on the road. I also like they have a grill to protect them from getting poked when sorting cables behind the monitor. The only negative is they may be physically larger than necessary but that's no issue for me.

I found this speaker trying to find an affordable speaker for my vinyl player and found a bunch of review about this specific speaker so I decided to buy it. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and sound regardless if I connected my vinyl player or phone. The sound and bass are super clear and I use it every day and have had no issue.

At this price-point the speakers deliver! They replaced my Swans, which took a dive. They look and sound almost as good as the Swans, yet have a small enough footprint to where they are not obvious until I look for them. Good stuff!

These Edifier R1700BT speakers sound great! But you're going to need a subwoofer if you want extra bass. Something like "Edifier T5 Powered Subwoofer - 70w RMS" (Surf internet for best deal) I'm using old subwoofer (25 Watt) from previous computer speaker system using 3.5 audio splitter cable connected from computer. The bass is punchy at lower volume, but I can't hear enough bass at higher volume level. Better than nothing...I guess. I may buy Edifier subwoofer later I get another stimulus check, maybe.

Nice sound. Good build quality. The remote is so tiny, that I will have to be careful not to lose it. But it works well. Bluetooth finds the speakers easily.

These speakers are the best I've ever seen for the money. The power output is exceptional at 33w×2 RMS. The bass packs a good punch and the highs a crystal clear. You would be hard pressed to find better speakers anywhere for the cost.

Much better quality sound than the tv speakers! The remote controller could be better.

Happy with the sound quality for the price. The remote is a little flimsy and does not have any range. Pretty much have to walk up the speaker to make volume adjustments so what is the point of having a remote then.
