Edifier P12 Passive Bookshelf Speakers with Wall-Mount Bracket - Pair

I needed speakers for a 1970's Realistic stereo receiver and chose these because they were a good price. The sound is great. There is bass without need of a subwoofer like more modern sets seem to require. Bass and treble will be balanced or adjustable depending on your receiver, but these speakers can deliver a good range, and loud enough without distortion. If you're just playing in your home and want to hear music lightly in different rooms, it's like revisiting times long before Alexa. I would definitely purchase these again or maybe try the next level up in this brand if I had a more valuable component I wanted to use. I found the speaker wire provided was a beefy enough gauge. I may add rca connectors, instead of using the threaded ends on the back of the receiver, in the future for convenience. 100% good experience.

I needed speakers for a receiver from the 1980s, and I took a chance on these. The sound is amazing. I have a record player set up through the receiver and couldn't believe how well my old records sounded. Very happy with my purchase.

They were quick and easy to install, they sound great and I think they're cute.

They look nice in the picture, but even better in person. The sound is great, and the price was good. Highly recommend these speakers.

great sounding speakers, some times people get bad ones and say they are junk. As for me they sound very good with deep bass and sharp highs.

I am still breaking them in, but, thus far, I am unimpressed. These speakers are weak. It would be generous to say that the high end is lacking. They sound dull and lifeless. The 79db efficiency rating definitely shows. This is the second-worst speaker purchase I have made in 40 years of listening to music on stereo systems that range from adequate to fantastic. Since I do not want to go through the hassle of returning them, I may relegate them to the stereo system in my garage (to replace the WORST speakers I have ever owned.)
