Perfect match for Edifer 1280dbs speakers. Adds as much bass as you want with adjustable volume control.

Adds just the right amount of tight, accurate, well-defined bass missing from my otherwise excellent - but small- bookshelf speakers. And at the price, it was not only a bargain, it was a "no-brainer". I spent more on my speaker stands. If you're in need of those low frequencies, please consider this sub. Very pleased.

We ordered the Edifier T5 subwoofer to enhance the sound of our Edifier R1700BTs Active Bluetooth Bookshelf Speakers. The hookup was very easy and we are very pleased with the sound. The base is even and strong. We originally had a Bose speaker and subwoofer system hooked up to our computer but when one speaker stopped working that was it. The Bose subwoofer would not work with other speakers. My husband is very pleased with the sound that the Edifier system is putting out and we both agree that it is much clearer and sounds better than the Bose.

The finishing touch, this a great sub for the money. I just put the packing box in the recycle bin, so it's official. With the speakers, this set-up offers a lot of flexibility in a relatively small package. I am able to use my set-up to hear my Zoom meetings better (now that people are all in the same room on the Zoom now using lousy central microphones), listen to streaming music from my phone or my TV (connected via the optical cable), and to my Bluetooth turntable across the room. The added subwoofer, out of the way, under my desk, really enhances the whole experience. The “system” sounds great - which is the most important thing!

This is a great subwoofer. I have it paired with the Edifier R1700BTs. The sound quality surprised me. It is perfect for what I wanted the setup for, music and movies at my desk. Best audio purchase I've made in awhile.

Excellent sound for $150..Get it!!

I was hoping I could have paired this w/ my S1000DB speakers. It couldn't be done. Complete bummer. I don't understand why it wasn't possible w/ both a powered subwoofer and powered speakers. I had to return it.
