My child loved it!
We received this free for review. My 2 year old figure out right away that you push the owl's nose to turn the lights on. He had loads of fun looking at people and objects both inside and outside. Lots of opportunities for education! Though it's intended for younger kids, my 6 and 10 year olds enjoyed it too. It's made of very sturdy plastic and reminds me more of the toys I played with as a kid than the flimsy plastic things you usually find today.
Both of the children love this. They carry it everywhere they go. They use it inside and outside. They can even see things in the dark with the light up eyes. It has been with the children day and night since they received it. I would highly recommend it for any little "explorer"!
This fun owl is a big hit at our house! Our almost 4 year old enjoys hunting for bugs with it and has now been studying the seedlings that are sprouting in the garden. He loves the red led night vision lights and uses them for all kinds of imaginative play from pretending to be a monster to being a supper spy and even Batman. Seems like a durable toy as he has been playing with it outside and it been bounced around in his little red wagon and has held up well. Can't wait to do more exploring this summer with this.
When we opened the Bright Eyes Magnifier, my four year old was magically drawn to it. It was a little disappointing to not have batteries included in it because that meant we couldn't play with the toy right away. After we did get batteries for it, my son fell in love with it. Seeing "items" from a different perspective is always fun. He'd get really close to the items he was looking for thanks to the magnifier. Sometimes you really do have to look closer to see things from a different perspective. We really liked the -Design (way cooler than a traditional magnifying glass. -Light -How easy it was to grasp and carry around.
This is the most adorable magnifying glass I have ever seen! I was excited to get it because it encourages imagination, exploration and outside play. It fits in my kids hands quite nicely and looks so cute when they put it up to their eyes! My kids are 4 and 6 and when they first saw it they were very interested but didn't know what it was. Once I showed them they were off to hunt for bugs. They like using it but always forget to take it out with them. It would be nice if it had a handle or lanyard option. It is pretty durable and can handle the adventurous life that awaits it out in the wild with your child! Awesome summer toy!
This owl magnifier has a really cute design. Our son (almost 4) had fun looking at bugs, books, and turning the light on when it was dark. I think it will get a lot more use in the coming months when we get more insects in the backyard. In the meantime, he had more fun holding it up to his face and walking around than he did looking at bugs. Some things we liked: - It's design makes it easy for little ones to hold. - The two eyes have different magnifications. - The light was a big hit at night, mainly as a flashlight. The only thing that was a little annoying was that the right lens was blurry and difficult to see through. It's a fun toy for younger children that are into bug hunts.
