Educational Insights Design & Drill Build-it Bucket, STEM Construction Toy, Ages 3 and up

This is a super fun simple toy. My kids loved playing with it and I enjoyed watching. The drill actually works and even switches directions to unscrew. I love it and was amazed how fast my kids understood how it worked and became fast builders. My only con was we need more! We need more pieces and more things to build. Add ons to this toy would be great.

So this toy is SUPER cute. My 7 Year Old daughter loved playing with it. it came with enough pieces that her and her 3 year old nephew could both build cars. (Or a plane!) It was fun and they loved building all 3 models that were suggested, then even made their own creations! I highly recommend this toy for any kid that loves to just use their imagination and build.

This toy was great for my son's hand/eye coordination and helped him to learn about simple tools and structures. He enjoyed putting it together and taking it apart and it's great to take on the road because it's portable! The bright colors and easy to grip pieces makes this toy a great introduction into tools and simple machines!

This toy is both fun AND educational! My children are very interested in STEM/STEAM toys and activities, so this was a win. The colors and shapes entertained my youngest child, while the challenge of building with a life-like drill held the interest of my older child.

Such a fun toy! My 5 year old son has Autism and is just starting to get into building. I received the Educational Insights Design & Drill Build-it Bucket as a free sample for a review and I'm thrilled with this product. My son absolutely loved putting the car together. He loved that the drill actually worked and helped him to put the pieces together. For his birthday last year, he got a set of nuts, bolts, and different pieces that could be put together but it didn't come with a working drill (just a screwdriver and wrench), and he really hasn't played with that set much. Not only did My son love putting the car together, he played with the car for hours after. At one point, my 1 year old daughter got a hold of the car and managed to take a tire off. My son quickly was able to put the tire back on; no crying or getting upset. My son has been playing with this toy for days and he's not always gently with his toys, but so far it's held up nicely. I 100% would recommend this product to all my friends and family for their children.

I received this for free to try with my kids. The oldest, age 5, loved building the models shown in the directions and had fun putting pieces together to make new creations. Although the pieces are a little loose when screwed in with the supplied kid-friendly screwdriver. A simple hand snugging can secure the models for play. Remember to loosen them, so the kids can unscrew the models as the screw driver doesn't have a lot of power. The creative options for this toy are a bit limited at times (there is only so many ways to build the models), but the replayability seems high so far.

My 4-year-old is very detail oriented and loves to build things and figure out how things work. This set has kept him busy for hours. Because it's so easy to use, my 2-year old is also capable of using the toy drill to take screws in and out. It comes with a variety of vehicles to build with instructions on each but also allows for creative play and making your own things. I appreciate the case it came in to keep all the pieces all in one place too!

My kids are 7 and almost 5 and they love this build it set the real screw gun is an added benefit for them since their parents both constantly use screw guns they love having their own now. I may end up buying another set to double what they can build and do. Any parent should own this toy its a big enjoyment for my kids

Overall, I think this is a great design for a tool toy set versus others on the market that are much smaller and less engaging. Little ones can build a car or be entertained just drilling the screws into the lid of the bucket or other pieces. I definitely like that the drill has a piece that fits the whole top of the screws rather than making little ones line up the drill and screw perfectly which can be difficult when hand eye coordination is still developing. I do wish there were more things available to build to prevent boredom once the car is complete.

My two and four-year-old boys loved the idea behind this drill set. However once it arrived and we opened it it was missing the tip to the drill which is required to put all of the screws in to create a vehicle. We ended up putting in all of the screws by hand without the drill and the boys still had a fun time doing so but they were very excited to use the drill and were upset when they realized it wouldn't work to put the screws in. If it had had all the pieces I would have given it five stars !
