The purse is cute, soft with poppy's all over it. It came with quite a few fidget/sensory items. My granddaughter really loves it.

My 4 year old daughter loves this toy. She was so excited to open it up and get started playing with it. She loves making her own designs with the bolts and plates and thinks the drill is awesome. She likes using the flower drill bit the best. It held her attention so well and she played independently with it for 45 minutes straight. It was easy for her to figure out on her own. The only improvement I would suggest is adding some sort of screwdriver handle that the drill bits would also fit into, so that the child can turn some manually, to try something different or if the drill runs out of batteries.

My 3.5 year old had so much fun with this toy that she didn't want to put it away! She loved the bright colors of the screws and the shapes and of course using the drill was her favorite. I absolutely love that she can carry it all in one fun case and I don't have to worry about loosing the pieces. She had a ton of fun with the shapes and the drill was her favorite part. She said she felt just like Daddy working out in the garage! She also loved the fun shapes that she was able to drill down. I had to show her once how to drill it in and after that she could do it all on her own. Her older sister who is 6.5 also wanted to play with it and she loved it just as much! I have two girls, ages 3 and 5, and this is by far the most popular toy in our house - with both of them! My older daughter likes it because she's actively creating something and she can use the templates provided (it is almost like doing a Lego project - it is pretty precise) or she can make up something on her own. As for my 3 year old, she likes it because she loves the drill, and likes to create her own funny faces and gardens and whatever she thinks of - and she can do it all by herself! They also help each other come up with new ideas to execute and they play with it together, which is always a plus. I would highly recommend this toy for all these reasons, but also, as a mom, it is easy clean up and storage because the flower itself folds in half and becomes a container for all of the gear!

My 2.5 year old daughter has really enjoyed playing with this toy. The drill is the perfect size for her small hands. Although she is a little young to really start doing the designs, I think that she can definitely grow into this toy. This toy helps with hand eye coordination and is great for travel. Would definitely buy this for a child who is 3+.

My two year old daughter and three year old son love this toy! (Yes, he doesn't care that it's pink!). It is easy for the kids to manipulate themselves and I love that they are imagining, creating, and working on their fine motor skills. The plates are a nice touch for "flowers". The only cons is that it is hard to clean up- the pieces have to be put in the exact correct spot or it cannot close. Also, I wish it came with two drills for two kids to play at once! My daughters both loved the item. The drill is really high quality. Holding the drill was easy enough for my toddler. My older daughter got a lot of use out of the item right away, and she could easily figure out how to reverse the drill too. I look forward to using it in the future. I'd definitely buy this for my PreK 3 year old daughter again. It's a very durable game everything is hard plastic and won't break. My daughter is learning how to build patterns using the bolts which are different colors! She really enjoyed it!,, Drill is awesome because isn't loud , which she doesn't like loud noises but this is perfect for her.

As an EI Insider, my girls occasionally receive toys from Educational Insights for review, and this was one of them... This is actually the third version of a "power drill" that we've acquired here, and by far the most creative in its application. My wife and I first discovered our daughters' interest in tools about a year or so ago - we were at the toy store, and our oldest pointed out a set (which included a drill) and stated flat-out that she wanted "to build things like Daddy." Here we have a colorful, well-made toy that presents the drill and its bolts as a "craft set" instead of a pure "tool set," and that's a pretty interesting angle. Fostering free-form creative play in letting kids make vibrant designs from their own imagination, the possibilities are near-endless, though there's also an included guide book of patterns from which little ones can learn "following directions," in addition to skills with their hands. When playtime is over, simply put it all back in its case, and the set is ready for travel or storage. Highly Recommended!
