Educational Insights GeoSafari Kidscope, Kids Microscope, STEM Toy for Ages 5+

Purchased this for my five year old grand son and he really likes it. I like how he can store the little slides in a drawer built right into the microscope. Nothing can get scattered or lost.

I bought this for my nephew's 4th birthday. He loved it and it was easy for him to figure out how to place the slides. He can't read yet but he was able to match the slides to the pictures in the book and I could read about each one to him. He's already knocked it off the table a few times and it still works! All in all it's durable and entertaining. I'd definitely recommend it.

This microscope for kids is so much fun and very educational. If your child loves science they will absolutely love this microscope and all the cool and unique slides that come with it. This product comes with fifteen different slides that have sixty different images that your kids can get an up close in depth view of. Each slide shows a little bit of everything from flowers, gems, bugs, etc. I really like that there is a fact book included with this so my little one can learn about each slide while she is looking at it. I really love how this is made specifically for kids. The eye piece and knobs are perfect for little hands. My little one can easily adjust and turn the knobs without any help. The slides are also very easy to change out. Another great thing about this product is the slides storage compartment. I love that the slides are stored in the microscope so my little one can't lose them. This is such a great product and it will definitely keep your little ones busy for hours. This is such a great learning tool and I love that she is learning and having fun at the same time. I highly recommend this product.

I was sort of skeptical about this educational kidscope but I'm happy about it. Fun learning is always the way to go for kids. I love everything about it! It looks like a real telescope and even has a light! It has a variety of picture slides for kids to look at and discover. It has a storage drawer attached so the slides don't get lost and it also has a book that gives details about each picture plus more. You can zoom in on the slides and the view is clearer than I expected. The slides even rotate like a real telescope! The kids ask to look at new slides and learn about them everyday since I had it. I definitely recommend it!

Perfect for sparking curiosity and love of science for the littles. My 4 & 5 year olds were fascinated with the kidscope. Thoughtful, quality design with 60 images and built-in storage for the disks, a magnifying light operated with a triple A batteries, an interesting and age appropriate fact booklet.

We got this Kidscope as our 6 year old daughter got into studying insects in the kindergarten. This toy further advanced her interest in the field (at least for now lol). The toy is really educational. It comes with slides that rotate to actually reflect various fossil-like samples (requires standard cylindrical batteries!). Really cool. While it's 5+ toy, our 3 year old also spends quite a bit of time with it, looking through the lenses into the slides and samples. Overall, a really nice educational tool (more than a toy). Good stuff.

My kids are obsessed with this microscope. It is educational but also fun to play with. Since using this my kids have enjoyed telling me everything they recently learned while using it. It it makes them happy it makes me happy. I highly recommend it.

This is a really fun introduction to the world of microscopes. I would recommend for ages 5 and up. They can get started away because the set includes 15 printed slides to look at. This will spark curiosity and have them searching for things all over the house and yard to examine up close! The included field guide is very helpful; children who aren't reading independently will need guidance with it. Overall, it's well made and easy to clean, with bright and colorful components. The eyepieces are very comfortable, too. Great addition to our homeschool!

My 5 yr. old grandson loves his GeoSafari Kidscope! Its sturdy, easy for small hands to hold onto. He was so excited to look at each slide! Such cool stuff to study..animal skin, fur feathers, bugs, bubbles, pond scum, food, body parts, virus, mold...60 slides in all! The light is bright..takes 3 AAA batteries (not included). The battery comparment screws shut..a great safety feature. When we first opened the box..i thought the slides were missing! But they were in the storage drawer in the base of the microscope. It comes with a booklet that explains each slide, which is nice. Educational toys like this can have such an impact on young minds. Can create a spark that can lead to their future career. I gave my 6 yr. old grand daughter a rock tumbler and today she is a geologist! She credits her grandma (me!) with starting her on her path:) Theres one improvement i think wouldve made the microscope better. The film tends to come out of alignment when little hands turn the base. Other than that, its a hit!

Very disappointed when I watched my 7year old niece open this for a Christmas gift. When she tried to look into the scope, the head of the scope would always droop down. As adults we checked to see if there was a way to adjust the head but wasn't. Also the slides were very vague when you looked into the microscope to view. Overall, needless to say my neice who loves nature, bugs, trees, was disappointed with this gift I had given her which when she is disappointed, I was greatly disappointed with this purchase.
