I'm an adult who wants to review and become faster at calculations. This "kid's toy" can do this. It quizzes on fractions, percentage and decimals. For instance, calculate "60% of 4,000." These are one type of question. You compete with yourself to do them faster. This is way more edifying than a video game or Candy Castle!

Makes practicing math fun!
My kids both need to practice their math more and this is such a fun way to reinforce what they learn at school at home too. I like that it is easy to use and both of my kids can use this for the different math facts that they have to work on. I also like that it's easy to take on the go..:in the car, on plane rides and even waiting at a restaurant for their food.

great toy for car rides
A great math practice toy for car drives. Younger kids may need some help to select the game, but once it's set up it's intuitive.

Great for math skill and drill learning
We are using this as a supplement to math worksheets. Mathshark allows you to start with the most basic level and build on that level to master it. It's a no frills approach to mathematics that takes no setup with counting bugs or number blocks. Although we use counting bugs and blocks it's nice to have this and all the rest.
