The EDX education linking cubes are something that my homeschooled daughter can play with for hours and helps her with math! These cubes come in multiple colors and includes 100 of them which can be linked together. These cubes connect and disconnect easily. These are made high quality and should also last years! Me and my daughter highly recommend, they are wonderful!
I love these blocks. They are easy to connect. Kids love them. And there tons of options how to use them: you can teach colors, you can teach counting, and my favorite, is to create patterns. I think this blocks can be used for class room setting, or kids can play independently.
My boys, ages 4 and 6 love these cubes. They stack them together to count them, make shapes and items, to list the colors, and to count them. These cubes are great for learning and imagination. They have so much fun with them and they hold up to their playing with them. They are quality.
This is a great way for beginners to learn how to count, add and subtract. The size is perfect for little hands. These are easily washed or sanitized to minus the spread of germs. My son has a fun time learning with these linking cubes. I recommend to anyone trying to teach kids basic math.
It is great that these unit cubes come in multiple colors. You have 10 colors and 10 of each color for a total of a 100 cubes. Are use different color cubes to represent different amounts to show my child how to add numbers by putting cubes together as well as taking cubes apart for subtraction. They are very easy to snap and unsnap. The visual of the cubes has really helped my child with their basic math skills.
Vibrant colors, connect well, sturdy and easy for my kindergartener to use. He quickly used them to build a huge rainbow snake. I bought these to help teach him counting by tens in order to help him count to 100. He counts to 20 so I knew a hands on would help him catch the pattern of 3 sets of ten is thirty and four sets of ten is forty etc. Being able to physically hold and add or subtract an object helps immensely! I HIGHLY RECCOMEND these counters.
My daughter is six years old and is learning how to add and subtract. She was working hard at it while school was in but now that it's summer break I didn't want her to get lazy and forget. The Edx Education Linking Cubes work great at keeping her on her toes. The colors are bright and come in ten different colors. The size is perfect for little hands to snap them off and onto each other. This set comes with one hundred cubes that allows her to count those high numbers. She has been having a blast learning with them and actually asks me everyday to get her math cubes out. And when she needs a break from the 'hard stuff,' she can use the cubes to build cool things. There even great for my two year old to play with. She mostly loves taking them all apart but she's also been sorting the colors. I would definitely recommend these connecting blocks to anyone who has a kid learning numbers. It offers many ways to learn while having fun.
These linking blocks are not only entertaining for my grandson but they are educational as well. Let's face it kids these days just want screen time. My grandson played with these cubes while I cooked. So o felt good about him not being on the tablet. Some skills they learn are counting, sorting and building different things. Basically using their imagination. I am glad I got them.
We are currently in the process of getting my son ready to go to Kindergarten. These have been great tool for us to use at the house. He has had his basic numbers down for quite a while. We have tried to get ahead of the game with some addition and subtraction. These cubes have made it pretty easy for him to understand. That is about as far as we have used them so far, but this is just because he is young. We can definitely see these cubes as being very valuable to us in the next few years. There are 250 cubes in the package, so your options are pretty limitless when it comes to teaching your child. He also has a good time with them because they are his "counting legos". I feel like these are a very good purchase for someone who is wanting to do some extra work at the house. If you are home schooling, I highly suggest these to you. This also helps with his shapes as these become 3D and real to him. He can understand what a square looks like from all angles. He has used these to create houses and all kinds of different things. I think these will be a great tool when it comes to a little more advanced math in understanding volume and area for example. Like I said, with 250 pieces, you have a lot of ground that you can cover.
I really love these Edx Education Linking Cubes - Set of 100 - 0.8 inch Size - in Home Learning Toy for Early Math - Connecting Blocks - Preschoolers Aged 3+ and Elementary Aged Kids. There lots of fun for hours with different colors keep kids entertained and i feel its not only for special needs children. Its fun for all kids even I had tons of fun building with my baby boy.
