Platform to stand on is smaller than stated in the description, but still ok. The legs are held in place by spring pins which must be pushed and held down during folding and unfolding, which is painful and difficult, especially for aging hands. I will have to leave this unfolded if I keep it, which negates the usefulness of buying a folding step stool. Legs have quite a bit of play in them when unfolded which indicates poor manufacturing, but the platform feels sturdy and solid when stepped on. The labeled weight limit on the stool is 500 lbs., considerably more than in the listing. I am a little worried that the spring pins may not hold up. Undecided on returning it or not. I like the white enamel finish and the rubber feet and the grippy platform for standing on, but I really wanted something easy to fold and unfold. The stool stays firmly in place when stepped on, and I like that too.
