Unlike most musicians I prefer an android tablet for my live performances and use the larger options with a ruggedized case when working... This Microphone stand mounted tablet/phone support actually works great and is versatile in that your not limited to just the Mike stand! It comes with a couple different rubber spacers so you can mount it to virtually anything with a 1/2-1" tube (metal or PVC) and the spring loaded holders really grabs on tightly. I've been using it on my E-bike durring cross town trips and for it's original purpose!

The tablet holder is for smaller tablets. I have 11 inch in a protection case, and it is too large for the holder.

When used vertically, my 11 x 7 tablet can slip. Also, where the tablet holder clips to the rest of the unit, it is too easy for the two parts to disengage. I think this would be better without the clip. A little super glue should fix this. Now for the positives: it does indeed hold the tablet right where I need it. It is very low priced, so I didn't expect anything elaborate, but it is well worth the price.

works great as long as you want your tablet to lay on its side but will not hold it upright

I put mine on a light stand to help with video conferencing, great tool!
