EF EcoFlow Delta 2 Smart Extra Battery, 1024Wh LiFePO4 Expansion Battery for Power Station DELTA2

I need more storage capacity for my delta 2 max generator so I purchased the smart extra battery. It works seamlessly with the generator and the ecoflow app brilliantly monitors all the inputs and outputs from my two 220 watt and three 110 watt panels

The battery works very well with my Delta 2. I am using these to run my refrigerator and freezer in my garage. I have installed fixed solar panels that have so far provided enough power to work for most of the day. The automation features and reserve power settings are very useful. I have already been able to use the units to power my refrigerators during a power outage. Great combination.

We are off grid, and this generator is the best. It runs everything we need in our house between 4-6 hours.

Baeicslly plug and play, added battery capacity, built in storage bin for the cord, sits atop the other unit perfectly.

This battery goes well with my Delta 2. Gives me more reserve power. Great connections and works seamlessly together. Love the screen.

Presently own a older Delta Max, and a Delta 2. The Delta 2 Max expansion battery is compatible with both units.

Easy plug & play, hard to talk about something that just works I plugged it in and never needed to do anything else, it just quietly worked. I wish more was this seamless.

I haven't needed it as of yet, but purchased a month ago and sized for AC backup to a Rinnai direct vent wall furnace. Calculated the draw of furnace and sized the EcoFlow system for appox. continuous 4-days operation without wall power. Combo of Ecoflow Delta 2 power system and Delta 2 Max smart extra battery provides 3 kWh of power. Only downside is that you can't disconnect, remove, and recharge the extra battery on it's own. That's what I had in mind when purchased. That way I can keep running furnace with the partially charged Delta 2 alone, while I take away the extra battery to charge it back up to 100% and return and plug it back into Delta 2. Not the case. You have to use the Delta 2 power station as the conduit to charge the extra battery. So, you'd have to remove the whole combo system to charge both the main Delta 2 and or the extra battery. It would be a great design improvement if EcoFlow added and A/C charging input port on the Extra Battery, so it can be charged by itself.

The extra MAX battery is working great with my Delta 2. I was waiting for EcoFlow to build an LFP extra battery, I did not want to buy the 800 cycle Lithium Ion type which does not match the LFP chemistry of the Delta 2. It would be an improvement to be able to charge the Extra Battery by itself, with solar or from the wall. For our setup, side-by-side, I'd like to have the option of plugging the cord into the BACK of the units (not the SIDE), so they could sit closer together. The ability to manage the batteries remotely with the app, such as Energy Management, is a great feature.

Bought this product for a backup and use this to power my iceco refrigerator. Would love EcoFlow to put usb and 12 volt on the extra battery. That would make this product very outstanding.
