Quiet and easy to use

Lazy Larry July 22, 2023

We recently used our new Delta 2 Max and an extra batter for a Delta Max on a week long camping trip. We ran all of our electronics including a 5000btu window AC on our tiny camper without any issues whatsoever. We have solar on the camper and were able to utilize the 2 solar inputs. We use one from the panels and the second from the DC outlet in the vehicle. Also we charged when need using a small inverter generator. The gray part is that we could charge completely in under 3 hours and run the AC all day for the dogs when it was hot. Without the Delta 2 Max we would've been just needlessly running a generator. Lots of features and happy to use this setup for many more years.

EcoFlow DELTA 2 Max Portable Power Station

JACINTO July 18, 2023

This Delta 2 Max is all you need for all those road trips or at home for any electrical emergency. I am really impressed with this product, but you will say that it is very expensive, and yes it is expensive but when you have it you will say that it is worth it because it is very efficient and durable that it comes with a 5-year warranty, just enough to get more for your money, thanks

Ninja Quiet and Super Impressive!

Michelangelo May 24, 2023

Time to Ditch Gas and Go Solar with the Delta 2 Max! Let's do a quick rundown of the new kid on the block and compare it with its little brother, the Delta 2. The Delta 2 Max is definitely much beefier than the Delta 2. The D2Max sits at 19.6 × 9.5 × 12 inches and weighs approximately 50 lbs. The Delta 2 on the other hand is 15.7 × 8.3 × 11.1 inches and weighs in at 27 lbs. Reading the dimensions may not seem like much of a difference but trust me, it is! The D2Max sports a whopping 2,048Wh batt capacity! That is DOUBLE the capacity of its little brother, the Delta 2 at 1,024Wh. Of course, we are talking nothing but LFP with an estimated 3,000 cycles to 80% of capacity. The D2Max also sports an add-on option where you can triple the capacity from 2kWh to 6kWh by adding two Smart Extra Batteries. Kick things off with a blistering 2048Wh base and move up to 4096Wh with a single extra battery. From there, max out at 6144Wh with a second extra battery! Major capacity upgrade! One immediate noticeable difference (besides size), are the AC outlets. While both have six outlets, all of the D2Max's outlets are grounded outlets. With the Delta 2, only two are grounded. The D2Max provides up to 2,400W total (4,800W surge) AC while the Delta 2 sits at only 1,800W (2,700W surge). EcoFlow's proprietary X-Boost on the D2Max is 3,400W vs the Delta 2 at 2,200W. USB ports remain the same between the two models, x2 USB-A and x2 USB-A Fast Charging. There are also x2 USB-C (100W) ports for a total of six USB ports. DC/Car Outlet and x2 DC5521 (barrel) outputs also remain the same. On the input side, the D2 Max sports dual solar inputs (500W each/1,000W total) and a mind blowing 1,800W AC input. This is a game changer with a lightning fast estimated 43-minute charge time to 80% when combining both AC (1,800W) and a min of 600W solar input! Super-fast! Going to save this for last... Charging at the Max X-Stream setting of 1,800W or any of the variable settings is WHISPER QUIET! This is going to blow you away! I cannot believe how quiet this thing is! The Delta 2 sounds like a jet ready for take-off. Ecoflow must have an Area 51 scientist on the design team. the D2Max is Aurora Stealth quiet! Either that or it was built by Ninjas... ;) If you are looking for a home backup solution, be the envy of all the other overlanders in your weekend run to the mountains or just light up and power the playa at the next Burn, the Delta 2 Max is the power station you have been looking for! Way to go EcoFlow, you knocked this one out of the park! #DitchGasGoSolar Welcome #Delta2Max !

A must have for Campers and Preppers

BigPappaPump July 18, 2023

I am a big proponent of EcoFlow products. Last year I purchased twp Delta Pros, a spare battery for them, the smart panel and smart hub. I planned on taking one of the Pros with me while camping, but instead of lugging over a 100 pond unit all over the place, I saw that EcoFlow now produces all the power I need and the unit weighs half of the Delta Pro so I purchased one: the Delta 2 Max. I have a teardrop camper and I need to power a 5000BTU air conditioner, a 12V fridge/freezer a fantastic fan, etc. With the option of using solar panels or charging from shore power, the Delta 2 Max can be recharged in no time. This is a must have for campers and preppers alike.

I am ready for a storm now.

EcoMike July 23, 2023

I have the Delta 2 Max and 2 extra batteries. I really like the options in the app from being able to limit charge rate and AC always on, and much more. One extra battery fits nicely on top of the Delta 2 Max, but the Dela 2 Max does not fit snug on an extra battery, I wish it did. Overall I recommend. It does not take the place of a true UPS, but I already had a UPS anyway. My only complaint so far is one of the extra batteries came with a bad display, but I guess I'll keep it. I don't want the hassle of a return and I use the app anyway.

Excellent Product Delta 2 Max

SFL.Prepper July 18, 2023

I recently purchased the EcoFlow Delta 2 Max to use as a Emergency Home Backup in case of power outages here in Florida from Hurricanes or storms. The unit is very well made with 2kWh, expendable to up to 6kWh, it is very quiet unit and has LFP Battery Chemistry. I highly recommend purchasing this unit either for camping or to use as a Home Backup in case of power outages to power your refrigerator, microwave, blender, coffee maker, washing machine, etc. The unit has the latest technology to recharge quickly and has a long lasting time span of about 10 years.

Pretty good product for on peak power shifting

Ecoflowuser July 18, 2023

I got this to help shift my on peak power usage during expensive summer pricing. I have my refrigerator, router, tv, surround sound system, and a few lights plugged into this 24/7 and it powers them no problem. The fans are relatively quiet and the app makes it nice to check info about the unit. My biggest complaint would be solar charging.expect about 50-75 watts to be wasted in ac-dc conversion so if you get 200w solar you are actually only charging about 125-150. Other than that it's a great unit and charges fast via AC wall outlet. Haven't taken it camping but it can also be used anywhere since it's only about 50lbs

Delta 2 Max Does What I Want it to Do

bogieb July 19, 2023

I haven't had the delta 2 Max for very long so my review won't be as in-depth as I would normally do. I bought this unit to run my 1000w microwave during nighttime (when my household solar is not active) plus as a battery backup in case of power outages. It runs the microwave with ease and I have no doubt it will run my pellet stove for quite some time if needed. I've charged it both off household electricity and solar panels with no issues. My one real complaint is, being this large of a unit, I would think that most people will use it for AC power (I could be wrong). But, the main power button, as well as the screen are on the opposite end from the AC and charging sides. However, if you are charging a phone, hey, you can watch the wattages output, the time it can hold at the power drawn and other info from that same end. It's a minor quibble, but irritates me. Another irritation (and they all seems to do it), is to have a black package with dark gray writing. I can't see that with a flashlight and readers. If there were more of a contrast between the colors, I'd have a fighting chance. But again, all 3 of my battery stations, from 3 different makers, are like that. I rated as 4 stars instead of 5 because I haven't had this long and they are sort of expensive. I haven't found any flaws yet.

Not the model that I ordered.

Fabian July 20, 2024

Be careful about this item. The model I ordered was not the same model that I received. The model that is advertised on the Wal-Mart website is the delta 2 max 2048wh model number EFD 350. However, I received the model EFD 329, which is a lower capacity delta 2 max at 1900wh. YES, THERE ARE TWO DIFFERENT VERSIONS OF THE DELTA 2 MAX. I called Ecoflow about this issue, and they assured me that I received the correct model even though both the box and sticker on the unit said EFD 329. The box even said 1900wh in large font. They told me that it was just a printing issue, and that if I were to connect the item to the app, the app would state the correct capacity at 2048wh. I found that to be a really sketchy response, and I didn't trust it at all. As such, I returned the item right away. The only reason I'm giving this review 2 stars is because of Wal-Mart's return policy. I started the return online, dropped off the item at the store, and was given a tracking number. The return process was very easy, simple, and no restocking fee whatsoever. Just be aware that refunds are not issued until Ecoflow receives the item.
