I've only had this 24hrs but here are my thoughts . We live out in the country and we have what we call muck lands behind us. Muck is very fine black soil/dirt that onions get planted in. It's very rich soil, but it is very fine, finer than sand. When it's dry and windy, it blows all o wr the place. We call that a “muck storm”. I have been looking for some way to clean the muck out of our pool. This thing did the trick. The video speaks for itself. I did have to stop every few minutes to rinse the filter, but oh my God it worked so good. Can't speak on the longevity of this, but if it continues to work the way it did, I will be happy.
So far I am glad I bought this vacuum. I have a stock tank pool. It is 8 ft round. Last year I used a vacuum that attached to the garden hose but this year I wanted to get a battery powered one. This one has worked well. It picked up the fine stuff as well as leaves and bigger pieces of debris. I wouldn't use it to clean out a ton of leaves but it works well for daily cleaning. At first the debris screen can be kind of hard to unclamp to clean out but after use it has gotten much easier. I was also skeptical of cover that covers the plug in area but it has also done its job of keeping water out.
I love this vacuum. It's so easy to use, lightweight and fast. The long handle makes it easy to reach in the middle of the pool. Suction is great. I can get my pool vacuumed in about an hour. Cleaning it is a breeze. If I had one thing to say bad about it would be it takes longer to charge than I would like.
Great pool vacuum - my husband was very impressed with how simple it was to put together and after charging it fully it had a great suction power to pick up all the dirt and sand at the bottom 🤩 . Long enough to reach. Very satisfied -highly recommend this product .
This is perfect for our stock tank pool!!! None of the sweepers with nets have worked- pushes dirt back into water. So then I used to have to lug the shot vac out to clean the pool, and then add more water to the pool bc I lost so much in the shock vac. Turned an hour worth of work to less than a two minute quick clean. This is sooo easy to use and sleek and small can easily grab it and go. This is a game changer for the summer!!
by far lowest price for this type of pool vacuum. Small so great for hot tub/spa small corners and rounded edges. Picks up dirt, pollen, dust, small gravel that settles at the bottom. Suction is okay In sure more expensive versions would have a bit stronger suction. Wouldn’t grab small stick or leaf but I use skimmer for that anyways. Easy to remove and rinse the filter out. Not sure how to get a replacement filter but I’m sure you can order from their site (maybe). Exactly what I was looking for to quickly grab the first that settles at bottom before guests arrive.
it's light weight easy to use and was cheap. it works on small items but fills up so fast. I'm having to empty it every 2 minutes and probably could go less. it's not a good tool for startup but I think I will get way more use out of it for maintenance
This broke the first time we used it. I was able to glue it back with water-proof glue and will try it again, before returning. Its cleaning power was decent, it did clean dirt off the bottom of our 14 ft pool. Have to remove the filter part to get up larger debris like leaves.
This vacuum will not pick up powder residue left by algaecide. I tried to engineer ways to keep the powder and other small particles like seeds and small leaves from blowing back in the water. I tried panty hose (inside and out), cotton balls, and cut up a cartridge filter to place inside. The only thing it is good for is to distribute what you spend hours sucking up all around -back in the pool. The suction is not that great. Whoever commented that it works perfect for them either lied or didn't wait to see everything settle to the botttom.
It charged once. The second time I tried to charge it the charging port fell inside of the machine so it probably can't be used anymore. Alice from that the vacuum part is only about the size of your hand, maybe 2. The vacuum hole is small as well. Maybe for a kiddie or shallow pool
