Eggland's Best Cage Free Large White Eggs, 12 Count

These EB eggs are SOOOOO MUCH BETTER than any other eggs! They taste better, look better overall, and I just plain won’t buy eggs if these eggs are not available. I have my groceries delivered by Walmart, and when they delivered these EB eggs, they were in PERFECT condition, with the egg carton placed into a plastic bag that was tied securely and the excess bag wrapped around the carton and placed into a paper Walmart bag with a red FRAGILE sticker on the paper bag. Fantastic eggs and fantastic Walmart service!

I never bought Egglands Best before but was given as a substitute. I am extremely impressed with the taste and freshness of this brand and Walmarts prices are very affordable so I will be keeping EB as my eggs of choice

These are the only eggs 🥚 we ever use. All the other ones always have broken eggs in them. Plus I feel they taste so much better. Almost like I just look them from the chicken 🐔 😍

The Eggland's eggs are definitely more expensive than many other eggs. I like that they are all pointy end down in the carton which centers the yolk and prevents odor absorbtion. It seem like they come in two different crates, foam and hard clear plastic. The clear plastic is probably better but for me is harder to open each time so I prefer the foam. I don't eat that many eggs and was continually tossing a few from every carton of the cheaper eggs as they looked bad. With the Eggland's I haven't experienced this. Can I say they taste better? Not really but the other things I mentioned make them worth while to me. If I were feeding a family I probably would more cost conscious, buy the cheaper eggs and do things like put all the eggs wide side down myself. But it's just to tiring to do in my old age. Just getting them into the fridge is enough work.

I purchased these and picked up the order curbside. I opened the carton when I got home, and saw NONE of the eggs had the “EB” stamp on them. I contacted Egglands Best, and they confirmed their eggs still all have “EB” stamped on every egg. They suggested the eggs may have been switched at the store for “lower quality” eggs (by either an employee or a customer). I contacted Walmart and let them know. Walmart never responded. You would think they would take the possibility of food they are selling being tampered with seriously and respond, but I guess not. Shameful.

Received 4 broken large eggs out of 12 on a Walmart delivery order. Threw out the whole carton because the holder was swimming in yolk %26 egg white and did not want to risk getting salmonella for $4.12. Obviously, the Walmart picker did not check the egg carton. However, how about the person checking the cartons BEFORE they put them on the shelf!!! Is that so difficult now that you’re making $15.00 per hour??? Or does that require an extra crabby face??? Help app doesn’t work either.

There was some mustardy brown stuff at the bottom of the pack. I thought it was dirt, but then I found it on two other eggs. In addition, these egg cartons used to have two sections to hold the eggs in and now this one only has one, and if I hadn’t been over the counter, it would’ve cracked open

I gave one star, because seven out of 12 was thrown away because of the spider web like cracks covering the shells. I had never seen damaged eggs like that before . I can only assume they were that way before being placed into the carton because the carton itself is plastic and there were no damage. The eggs were also smaller then usual .

For home deliveries, do not recommend for the simple reason the shoppers typically do NOT pay attention to Use By or Sell By or Expiration dates. Example, my 6/30 delivery included these eggs with a Sell By date of July 1. Might be ok for customers planning to consume a dozen eggs in a few days. But if you expect the eggs to last a week or 2, better skip home delivery.

This is about the store, not the eggs. The last 4 times I’ve ordered these eggs they have either expired the same day as delivered OR been days past the expiration date. It is of course frustrating that I don’t get the eggs, but more, it’s beyond wasteful with starving people all over our streets. It’s not just Walmart. DO BETTER corporate America. One suggestion: have a dang associate check your milk and eggs daily, and if they’re about to expire, give them to your employees for free. Or have a shelter come pick them up once a week for free. Instead of sending them home to your customers to immediately throw in the trash because they’re already bad. Maddening.
