These are more of a luxury item than a necessity, but I really like them! They have a neutral, non-offensive flavor that works well with anything you might want to put on them (or wrap them around). It's a much tidier way to have something portable and sandwich-like as compared to lettuce leaves.
If you are dieting, egg whites are always a plus. They are a good protein source. With these wraps I can make a wrap with some chopped chicken breast, chopped arugula, lettuce, tomato or any other favorite salad fixing. I will not use mayo, but Skinny Girl dressing is extremely low calorie and flavorful. Also you can lightly toast these wraps before filling them. They flavor is very great. They have other flavors of these wraps, but they are not available at all Walmarts.
My New Obsession 🙌 Okay, Egglife wraps are officially my go-to. No junk, no weird additives—just clean, whole food goodness with a protein punch. I've wrapped eggs, chicken, veggies, even made a dessert crepe (don't judge). They're super light but still satisfying, and way better than the carb-heavy stuff. If you're into eating clean without being boring, these wraps are a must.
I love tacos, especially fish tacos. I really load my tacos with various toppings. The wraps are so fluffy and light that I did not think that it would withstand and break apart. It exceeeded my expectations. It not only held up with my hearty tacos, they have a pretty cool taste. I popped them in my air fryer for a few minutes, and that yielded great results.
This is a very tasty alternative to soft taco shells if you're looking to minimize carbs. My only minus on this is that it is harder to pick up and manage compared to a taco shell. It is more "floppy" and you need to hold it just right so your fillings don't fall out as you're eating. They are a little more spendy than taco shells.
I have a number of dietary restrictions. I love that I can use these to make so many dishes. My favorite use is for soft shell tacos or faux cheesy garlic bread. The simple ingredients are so helpful! This particular flavor is very neutral, allowing the other food flavors to shine.
I love these wraps. As a carnivore it always seems like your food options are so limited. However, including these wraps opens up a whole new range of recipes to me. Egg salad, chicken salad, deli sandwich meat, cream cheese with spices or your choice of seasonings, mozzarella cheese with pesto, as a base for "pizza" and so much more! Their neutral flavor allows them to go with everything!
My 2nd time ordering this product, from Walmart delivery, after seeing them on a FB reel. I can't recommend enough. I wish Walmart carried the other flavors they offer. I've been making tacos using the Walmart "simply" already cooked steak. Add cheese and sour cream. Game changer. I've also made a dessert with one. I mixed together whipped cream cheese, golden monk fruit sweetener and cinnamon. Spread out a thin layer of the cream cheese. Add sliced strawberries. and roll up. OMG to die for! Restaurant worthy! I haven't tasted "egg" at all! Thank you Egglife. Also, I'm recovering from surgery so this makes my meal prep SO easy.
If you're on a low carb or gluten free diet and can't have regular tortillas, these are great. They taste good. I do think they're a bit small and tend to rip pretty easy, so be careful what you stuff them with. I also wasn't a huge fan of the texture personally. But overall, they make decent replacements for tortillas!
I was really excited about the idea of these because low carb, healthy and they'd be a great alternative for tortillas which I really like eating! All of those things are true however I just couldn't “get into” the taste. No matter if I warmed it up or had it cold it was just…. Rubbery and not a good flavor. In theory this is a fantastic concept but I just didn't like these at all personally and my family wouldn't even try them because they didn't think they looked very visually appealing (which I would actually disagree- I thought they looked fine!)
