In the toaster, in your mouth. Just how the grandkids like their breakfast. Quick and easy. When they are hungry, they want their food now. No time to mix batter/cook/etc. These toaster waffles fit the bill. They love them. They also work great if you want a quick snack ! One waffle with natural organic syrup cures the sweet tooth !
Just as delicious as when they first came home in mom's groceries when I was just a kid! I love making waffles on my iron too, but these still satisfy me any time!
Diabetic here, very bad one, I had to find something I could eat that wouldn't raise my sugar too high and that has a little sweetness to it. I will be honest, my sugar has been out of control no matter what I eat or don't eat. I was passing this in the store and it caught my eye and it was on sale so I bought one. I got home and was hungry and looked on the box at the carbs and was shocked, I was like maybe I can eat this and I did. lol All I added was butter, that's it, but it was good and it did not raise my sugar beyond control. I knew by the amount of carbs how much insulin to give myself and I was correct, it didn't get high and I now have a quick and tasty snack I can enjoy anytime.
Eggo waffles is one of the healthiest you can eat! When you want a waffle….you want a waffle! These frozen waffles make it easy to pop into your toaster and serve these yummy waffles with syrup, jam, peanut butter, fresh fruit or whatever your special topping happens to be. You can keep these in your freezer to always be able for a good meal be it for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
I eat Eggos right out of the toaster, no butter or syrup. It's actually healthy for you, and low in added sugar. I like the other flavors as well, but this is my favorite.
This item was good but I gave 4 stars because great value buttermilk taste better so I switched products. Great value was also a better deal. The taste quality for these was still good I just preferred great value.
Modern Eggo waffles taste nothing like they did as a kid (perhaps the flavor overload effect just doesnt work as well as an adult); Also, no matter how high quality toaster I use, they never come out like they did in the 1980s, and have an overly sweet taste to them (I thought the maple syrup was supposed to handle the sweetness); They're not even very healthy, though compared to what most Americans eat they are still fairly nutritious. They also freezer burn very quickly, not matter how new or old your freezer-fridge is :( I dont even buy them anymore;
These are not the Eggo Waffles I remember. I've eaten these several times and used to buy them often, but this is the last time I will buy them. These had no taste and they get smaller every time I purchase them. My husband hates these, but likes the big and fluffy ones, so I will try those again.
I did not order this substitution. I did not want this product. I wanted a smaller box of Thick %26 Fluffy waffles to be substituted, not this cheap inferior product.
No flavor. They look like waffles but don't taste like waffles. Sure, throw a bunch of butter and syrup on them and who can tell the difference, right? Like everything else food manufacturers put out these days. Cheap imitations of the real thing.
