Hello everybody! Its your girl Darlene! I've been gone for a little while but now I'm back and I really did miss you guys. So let's get started. I bought me some Homestyle Eggo Waffles today because I felt that I wanted a special treat for breakfast, which was late, but I still had breakfast a few minutes ago! I'm still eating now while I'm talking to you! I waited for my Waffles. And boy I tell you I'm extra glad I waited! This creamy buttery taste is out of this world!!!!! The chrunkyness stands on it's own! No one wants soggy waffles. Now add some syrup or eat um plain! Your stomach will truly thank you! Until the next time my friends! Happy eating! Oh, don't forget to add your favorite ice cream between two Eggo Waffles for that old time ice cream sandwich treat we used to love, and live again!! Bye now!!!
They have definitely gotten smaller and have a lot of holes in them. Also stopped putting the strips to close the package which was an awesome feature since I have a small freezer and can't keep them in the box. Need to put sealing strips back to seal
Eggo waffles are a family favorite, we eat eggs and waffles several times a week, excellent taste, consistent flavor and quick to make. Only thing I don't like is they aren't putting the sealing tape in the boxes these days. Other than that let's eat!
Eggo Homestyle Waffles are a classic freezer staple for a reason. They're quick, convenient, and come out crispy on the outside while staying soft on the inside when toasted properly. The flavor is mildly sweet and works well with butter, syrup, fruit, or even savory breakfast toppings. Would I buy again? Yes. They're affordable, dependable, and perfect for busy mornings when you need something fast.
I had been buying Great Value Waffles forever. The price has gone up and the quality has gone down. I decided to try these and they are well worth the money. NOTE: Alot of the Great Value brand items have gone down in quality and up in price for the past year or so.
I’ve been buying Eggo Homestyle Waffles for as long as I can remember, and they are still the easiest way to get breakfast on the table when I’m half-asleep. There’s something about that specific "homestyle" flavor—it’s light and buttery without being too sweet, so it works just as well with savory toppings as it does with syrup. The texture is really what makes them. If you toast them just right, they get that perfect crisp on the outside while staying nice and soft in the middle. I love this 24-count pack because it actually lasts a full week or two in a busy household, and they don't get freezer burnt easily. Whether you're rushing out the door or just want a nostalgic weekend snack, these are a total pantry (well, freezer) staple. You really can’t beat the convenience or the classic taste!
My husband really enjoys these as a breakfast, pops 2 in the toaster, they pop up he grabs and goes with his eggos and his hot tea, sometimes he snacks on these after dinner...he loves the quality and the price makes them affordable on out budget. He said "don't forget to order my eggos".
crunchy outside and an almost like a overcooked egg in the center, but somehow it works well. and then you add butter, they're hot ooooh then smothered in maple syrup. thank goodness i live alone because I kinda make sweet sweet love to my Eggos . oh wow,i got a _____
I have had better luck with generic as far as the flavor and the texture. Will I ever buy Eggo again? NO!! Not worth the the money when you can have a better product for a cheaper price buying generic.
First time ever eating these. I guess it’s according to taste. I usually make my waffles from scratch, but getting older and wanted to give them a try. I will start using my mixer I purchased and stick to the “old fashioned way” making mix and the good old waffle iron. Awful, just man opinion.
