My kids love these...we would love it if they came in thick and fluffy.
I'm glad I tried Eggo's protein chocolate chip brownie waffles. These are an exception to my thoughts that Eggo waffles not being nutrient dense with any significant benefits or flavor. 2 waffles contain 10 g of protein, which is 20% of the daily recommended value! Yes, they also contain carbohydrates, sugars, sodium, and fat in reasonable expected amounts. After toasting, it tastes chocolatey and some chocolate bubbled out while I was eating. I tried a piece without syrup first, which tasted good. Of course, syrup and /or berries makes it even better. The texture is still thin like Eggo waffle consumers are used to. If it was thicker, more like a Belgian waffle, I would've given it five stars. I likely will buy this again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are super chocolately! My kids weren't the biggest fan but my girlfriend and I were. They kept us fuller longer than normal waffles would. They were really quick and easy to make which made breakfast easy in the morning. Definitely would buy again.
These are a huge let down. The smell is amazing! While it's cooking you think you're going to bite into an amazingly delicious chocolate treat. However that's as far as it goes. There's nearly zero taste and what you can taste is like a cheap piece of chocolate that's half dissolved in water. It's sad because you can smell the chocolate as you go to take a bite and there's no follow through on flavor. The chocolate chip waffles have more of a chocolate taste than these. Not even my kids would take more than two bites.
These waffles are horrible, my kids do not like them at all. They keep asking about the hexagon chocolate waffles. Why would the company replace a product that is constantly sold out with such a bad tasting product? You had a fluffy, yummy chocolate waffles and you replaced them with thin, weird tasting chocolate waffles, not loaded at all, doesn't even taste like brownie. All these great reviews are fake, collected during the promotion. The company is clearly trying to increase the profit but the sales will definitely drop with this new „loaded” waffles. Bad move Kellogg, bring back hexagon chocolate waffles. No more Kellogg for us, we're switching to chocolate muffins instead.
I agree with the other real reviews! These taste like cardboard with a weird chemical aftertaste. Absolutely not edible. Bring back the Thick and Fluffy Double Chocolate Waffles—those were perfect! Who thought these were a good idea? Have they even tried them?
These are disgusting when you toast them they leave a grit in your mouth when you bite into them, I don't recommend
did not received item, so i don't how to rate it, but i got charged for it. the egg loaded chocolate chip frozen waffles.
These are gross. My kids did not like them at all. My boys loved the thick and fluffy chocolate waffles! Where their new favorite! But can't find them now. Since my kids won't eat these, they leave them in the freezer for Dad to eat. Dad will eat anything the boys don't eat, but even these he thinks are not good.
These are disgusting! Took one bite %26 threw them all in the garbage. Bring back the thick %26 fluffy double chocolate ones
