Great start

Matt 7 January 3, 2026

It got a good test right out of the box and did well. Takes a little getting used to the controls but easy to pick up after a little practice. Also nice to not have to worry about a gas engine. Plug in the batteries and go. Still tinkering with our old gas snowblower trying to get it to work properly

First Battery powered Anything

Cal J December 9, 2025

Just purchased the SNT2416 two weeks ago after finally deciding to retire my old gas powered single stage blower. Finally got to test it this morning. No gas mixing, no gas fumes. Heavy wet snow, only about 4 inches but threw it far and handled it nicely. Very quiet Recommend it.

Great Electric Snowblower

Arthur Panov March 7, 2026

Very happy with the snowblower. However, the batteries drain rather quickly when the snow is wet or icy. Which requires more batteries. The batteries are very expensive. Also, would like to see a version of this tool with rubber tracks rather than wheels. The snow ejection chute can use a few more discrete positions.

snt2416

SBJS March 13, 2026

we just had 10 cm of wet snow and the city had plowed so my driveway had a 30 cm snow pile at the bottom i have a 6 car driveway , the snt2416 just went like a hot knife on butter. it took me about 25 minutes and i used up only 1 light on the batteries. Do not regret my purchase. I

Ego 24” snowblower

David C12 February 16, 2026

I have been looking at/reviewing this snowblower for a long time. I finally decided to purchase it and am looking forward to using it (hasn't snowed since I bought it). I finally can keep my snowblower in my cellar instead of taking up room in my shed (my former Ariens snowblower). It's 100lbs lighter that the Ariens so as a senior that's important. Based on all the youtube reviews I have watched, I have no doubt this will handle my 6 car driveway and front walk.

This thing is a beast

JimBobBo February 10, 2026

We live in North East Ohio and get a ton of snow here, and this thing is a beast. We have about 700 feet of driveway, and I can get all of it done on one charge when it's a moderate snowfall, and almost all done when it's heavy snow. Assembly took me about 5 mins, and it works fantastic.

Throws snow like a champ

PackerBacker March 17, 2026

Great with dry snow. Good with wet snow. Lots of wet snow, 2 sets of batteries would be best. We have a standard 3 car driveway in a subdivision on a corner lot. The blizzard a few days ago was manageable until that afternoon it warmed up and turned the snow into 12" of amazing snowball making snow. Could not clear all the concrete with the 2 10amp hour batteries. But right up until the batteries needed recharging it worked great.

Not bad, not bad at all!

Retiring Sk Farmer March 6, 2026

I was impressed with its performance, it lasted 1.5 hours in -20*C weather cutting through about 18” of snow, some of which was hard drifted. It had one bar left on the battery and I was starting to get cold and had finished the driveway. Just wished it had a better drive tire, something grippier.

So far so good

Maltrix February 15, 2026

I bought this thing about 2 weeks ago after a big storm here in Mass at the beginning of February. Although a lot of the snow has compacted and iced up this thing has been pretty good with chopping it up and clearing pathways for my personal home as well as my rental units. Battery life is pretty good hasn't left stranded yet. So far I'm satisfied but can't give a long-term review on it obviously.

EGO snowblower is a big upgrade

Jose Polanco February 8, 2026

I'm pretty impressed with the snowblower capability, it's pretty much on par with most gas powered blowers of the same size. My only issue is the handles are flimsy and prone to breakage due to the large opening where the heated grips are. I feel like heated grips are unnecessary as most people use gloves anyway. They don't even sell stand alone replacement handles. I might super glue something under the handles to increase the strength of the handles. I would suggest EGO drop the heated handle grips and save money which could be passed on to the consumer.
