Ego Battery, 7.5 Ah, Li-Ion BA4200T

Bought this 7.5 AH a month ago with a 5 AH. The 5 AH will do the front and back yard on a full charge. This 7.5 last a lot longer. So, if you are using the Self propelled mower, it makes it back to the shed under its own power. Great capacity, and the LED Power gauge ring is easy to see what is left of the capacity. Simple and efficient design.

I bought an 800 series mower and it came with this battery. I can mow the quarter acre lot beside the house and most of the quarter acre lot that house is on with one charge provided that I don't use the self propelled function. It charges reasonably fast, sorry I did not time it. So far I like the ego eco system.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the new mower. It is a beast and can get thru almost any height of grass! The battery for my medium/small lawn lasted only down to 50% left. The only thing was a learning curve on using the new mower. It is very quiet and a workhorse!

This came with our new 800 Series mower and cut our entire yard (0.4 acre) on one charge. The battery was COMPLETELY exhausted but did manage the job. I used the self propel feature for about 1/2 the job. The set came with a fast charger so it was ready to go again in about an hour. Only used twice so far, but seems to do a great job.

This is the first EGO product I've used and would highly recommend it. I especially like that you can clearly see how much power you have as you are using the equipment. My neighbor told me she didn't hear me cutting my lawn and I told her about the EGO battery powered lawnmower and showed her the battery and charger. I told her how easy it was to charge the battery and highly recommended she have her husband purchase one for their yard.

I currently own eight ego tools, and therefore many batteries. While I love the tools, the battery performance has been very disappointing. It's uncanny how they seem to die just after the warranty runs out.

For a battery that the literature says could last up to 10 years or 1000 hours, my first one lasted less than 3.5 years and maybe 150 hours. Let's hope this one is better. Also, I don't look at EGo as a power equipment company. With the prices charged for underperforming batteries, it seems to me EGo is a battery company that also makes lawn equipment.

The first battery I purchased has not been able to hold a charge and is still under warranty. It was registered at the time of purchase along with all my other EGO equipment. I used to be able to mow my front and back yard with a single charge. Now I need to charge it again to complete the job. Just because the battery can still be charged does not mean it should not be replaced. Imagine having to charge your car battery to go to work and then having to charge it again to get back home. If a replacement cannot be provided, then an adjustment should be offered.

Am not happy with the time the battery lasts: I thought it would last long enough to so the 2 small areas of lawn I mow even at half power but it takes almost the full battery and that's when fully charged. Total time I am mowing : maybe 30 minutes; possible 45 .

buyer beware! walmart SUCKS! I bought on line only item at 400.00. item sent fed ex. night before delivery got message problem with delivery date. i would be updated later. then tracker next day said out for delivery all on schedule. at noon i get notice it was delivered..... photo clearly showed not my house. i call walmart. it was a third party item. they would not refund. they were sure i gave wrong address. nope my address good. after 1 hour of back and forth with wanda the walmart AI i was transfered to a chat txt agent... once again no real person to talk to about a missing 400.00 item. they were so proud of themselves for understanding after all this time on txting. that they blamed the third party vendor and said they will call you in 48 hours. we are sure they will fix this. i hate walmart. there is no accountability and humans dont exists any more. so you want me to rate your customer service. i don' think your robots care about humans because they have no sense of humanity
