Ego Nexus Escape Power Inverter 150 Watt

So far it has worked nicely to power my laptop for about 3 to 4 hours as well as charge my cell phone at the same time . So that's nice . It ran my TV as well but there was an annoying buzzing coming from the set . I reached out to ego and they said I should check the voltage of the TV to see if it was within the 150 w parameters. I need to do that though I did try to plug in a mini waffle iron but that triggered the inverter on button to flash red so that was a fail. At anyrate check to see what your needs are as far as what you intend to power during an outage .Good for lamps, laptops, multiple phones and anything within the 150 w parameters.

2 days later our power went out. Kept router and cellphone charged.

Works as advertised. Another Good EGO product. EGO is an awesome brand.

Can't say much. Put a battery on it and plugged in a CFL work light. Seems to work as intended

It is great to have power in the car without drawing from the car battery. Used my laptop to attend a meeting at the rest stop.

I purchased this item to later decide - if and when i can really afford the other generator - would love to get me the generator with four 7.5 batteries - no one has them available. on a military salary its going to be really hard to afford.

I let my son borrow the Nexus Escape with a 2.5 amp hour battery to try with his Roku tv. He fell asleep after it had been running non-stop for 5.5 hours! I have three 2.5 and one 5 amp hour batteries, so I should be in good shape in case of a power outage. And, I have neighbors with generators, so I can keep my batteries charged up.

I like the colour and styling. It functions well and comes with a 120 V AC outlet from modified sine wave inverter and two USB ports. It would be nice if there was an advanced model with a pure sine wave inverter, and more DC outlets, perhaps with a 12 Volt barrel connector (5.5 mm o.d.), and a 12 V DC cigarette socket as many camping and auto-related items use 12 Volt. A popular line of CPAP machines by ResMed can use their 12 V to 24 V DC converter kit, plugging into a 12 V cigarette socket. Oct'21 SLG

Not an item I will use on a daily weekly if even monthly basis but I have three batteries why not have an inverter to have back up power. The ability to charge cell phones and tablets during storms or run led lights it was a small price to have it sit on the shelf just in case.

i love it for each one i try. I can charge my dewalt batteries for tools on my farm in the field. Work for electric lamp and 18 inches fan. Small electric food mixer, deshumidifyer with fan at high speed, my typewriter GX-6000 from brother,electric radio, tire air pump, 40 watt soldering iron station, charge batteries of my kodak, cellular phone, ... and if a red light flash on , it tell me the machine is to big for my small EGO inverter. That good to know. Because that mean i need to buy the big EGO generater this year. If no electricity i can charge my phone or plug a lamp ... until it come back. I recommended for small machine or to charge your batteries . ''EGO staffs when we will have a car booster''.
