I'm coming from a gas trimmer and a corded blower. The gas trimmer had much more power but was much heavier. For most jobs around the house it works well. My only complaint would be how long the battery lasts. I have a one acre lot with many small flower beds and I barely can finish when the battery dies. The blower is just as good as the corded blower I had. So far I'm happy with the performance.

I bought the 610 CFM blower and 14 Inch weed eater. Both are beasts! The blower is so quiet I wonder if it even running until I point it at something I want to go away. Plus the turbo boost blows leaves half way down my 100 foot driveway. I thought I would need a blade for the weed eater to cut through some of the stuff in my unkept garden that I am trying to reclaim. I didn't need a blade. The .095 string cuts through all but very thick sunflower stalks. The runtime is very good. So far, I have not had to stop to change batteries. Both units are very well balanced and I find the weight manageable. My wife (we are 82) struggles with the weight but is still very impressed with the performance of both units. I have a 16 inch EGO chainsaw and now a weed eater and blower that I am very happy with and once again look forward to chores like weed eating when necessary.

Items work great, assemble easily and so forth. If I had better foresight, I would have purchased the multi head tool with string trimmer attachment so as to synergize with power edger, hedge trimmer, so forth. battery lasts nice and long and so easy to use.

Have only used both the trimmer, and blower about 3-4 times now, but really think that they're both great. Adding the string to the trimmer is easy, cuts great, durable, and the battery allows me to get my trimming and blowing done. The blower works great as well. Would recommend looking into this brand if you're looking for lawn care equipment. Their batteries work on all their products, and I seem to get my yard work done well, with the products I have from this brand.

This is by far the best weed trimmer I have ever worked with. It is lightweight to use and does an excellent job even when trimming fairly difficult weed overgrowth. The very best feature of this weed trimmer is the Rapid Reload feature which allows you to quickly reload the unit with trimmer string by reeling off 15 to 20 feet of string, threading it through the trimmer head until the two ends meet and then pressing the automatic reload button on the head of the trimmer. This makes the string rewind into the head in a matter of seconds. All the effort it took to reload the string was the worst part of every previous weed trimmer I have owned. It has always been clumsy and time consuming but that's not the case with the EGO Power+ 15" Powerload String Trimmer. The day I went shopping for a new weed trimmer, I saw this feature and stopped looking the minute I saw this device because it was lightweight, affordable, and I just couldn't pass up on the Powerload feature. I couldn't believe that I found a package deal that included the trimmer, blower, charger and battery at such an affordable price. I had a gas powered blower so I was not really shopping for a new one but bought the combo because there was so much value for the price. After I used the blower for the first time I was fully sold. It is also lightweight and easy to use. This blower can really push the debris well and the turbo feature really increases the output to blow away large piles of debris effectively.

I can't believe I held out for so long. I was proud of how much I had saved by going with an electric string trimmer and blower, thinking the cord was not that much effort, plus I never ran out of power. I never realized I was sacrificing so much power and effort. The day I got these, I did weeks worth of trimming and blowing in one day, they are both lighter than their counterparts and way more powerful. The battery lasted much longer than I did and was fully charged again once I cooled down from the outdoor heat. The auto feed on the trimmer is much better than my corded unit and has an amazing self winding feature. It seems the string lasts longer too, my old one would heat up and melt to the head unit causing me to have to "maintain" the feeder. Anyway, the total cost for me was not that much more than the croded units, so I now feel silly for holding out.

The 2.5Ah battery has excellent run time for my needs and holds a charge well. I'm able to get through my normal yard cleanup without constantly stopping to recharge. The standard 56V charger also gets the battery back up and ready for the next use in a reasonable amount of time. Overall, this is a powerful, convenient, and well-designed combo. No gas, no mixing fuel, no dealing with pull cords—just grab the battery and get to work. Definitely a 5-star product and a great addition to my lawn equipment!

Recently purchased. So far so good. Battery life and recharging is very good. Love the shutting off of the blower when you let off the trigger. Adjusting the flow of air makes the job of moving leaves more controlled. I have only used the weed eater once and liked it a lot when I did use it. Like that it turns off when the trigger is backed off. I like these much better than the gas powered units that I have been using.

Technically nothing is wrong but something is, Im doing a regular yard and the battery ran out. Not enough to weed and blow yard. It needs to include a longer lasting battery 2AH just doesn't do it. I bought the combo and the one battery is not enough so having to stop for an hour to charge or buy an expensive battery seems crazy. I feel tricked.
