Ego Power+ 16 Inch Powerload String Trimmer, Carbon Fiber Shaft Kit

This is my second string trimmer and my fifth EGO tool. All tools perform very well. Would suggest that you lower the cost of replacement batteries. May not need a new tool, but the cost of the battery is more than the tool + battery in the end. As you product promotes an alternative to gasoline powered tools, it seems wasteful to purchase another tool just to get a replacement batter.

I have only used the trimmer one time, but what a difference between this piece of equipment and my previous trimmer. And I really liked my previous trimmer. The EGO is a larger diameter string and doesn't break as easily as my other. With the auto reload feature for installing new line onto the spool, that is one task I am looking forward to not having to manually perform. With the yard care season winding down, getting more comfortable with the EGO will have to wait till next Spring, but I'm sure it will not disappoint.

Great product. It is easy to load and strong enough to handle thick growth. I initially purchased the 15 inch manual load but I found it too hard to remove the string cap and lacking the power needed to handle thick growth of weeds during my initial spring cleanups.

I'm a huge fan of this product It was easy to use lightweight and does the job that I needed done I'm not removing or cutting brush. I'm simply trimming close to the house and around Landscaping and it works perfect. The battery is adequate for my use

Purchased this unit to replace my gas powered unit. Due to declining health, the gas powered unit was becoming difficult for me to use due to its weight. The EGO unit fit the bill for me in the weight department. Carbon shaft and battery pack make things lighter today. Love the Powerload feature.

I have enjoyed my Ego products. However the trimmers has given me several challenges. The line won't feed when tapped. I've tried all the trouble shooting suggestions without success. I purchased the trimmer as part of the multi head tool. When switching attachments it's extremely difficult to make a connection without using quite a bit of force!

Only used it 2 times so far, but so far it has performed beautifully. Adjustable on the length, and also the handles, it can be set up to accommodate various needs. can trim, as well as edge around the lawn/gardens. battery still had plenty of energy after use.

I am 80 years old and I love this new weed eater. Love the balance and the easy adjustability of it. It is a bit heavy but the balance helps. I have ordered the strap for it, It comes with the strap adaptor for the shaft. My neighbor came over and checked it out and I believe that he is going to buy one also. I already have the EGO 21" self-propelled lawn mower and have been using it for 2 years. Love it also.

If you're debating between the line iQ or not it is such a nice feature. The ability to just get the work done without having to pay attention to the line breaking down is so nice. To be fair you'll have to decide for yourself if the cost is worth the convenience.
