Prices for lawn care skyrocketing, I decided to invest in my own equipment. I'm so glad I did the research on this brand of products. Reliability , Efficiency , Battery life And cutting power A route for me to maneuver Around my a lot With speed , Precision and power
I'm 80 yrs. old and needed a self-propelled mower for my yard. I had already purchased the EGO blower, and was very pleased with it and how long it lasted before needing to be recharged, so I thought that I would buy the 21"self propelled mower. I couldn't be happier. Thanks for a great product.
I just don't know how I cut my lawn ever before! Or better said, I didn't know that cutting the lawn could ever be enjoyable. This machine is light, quiet (you can talk fairly normally around it when it is running) and it is easy to maneuver around the yard. Because I don't have a great deal of lawn to mow, I can mow at least twice with one charge. There is also plenty of torque on this machine. It cuts really well and mulches great. I love how easy it is to adjust the blade height of the whole deck. Love it!
I love my EGO self-propelled mower. It is nice to just put in a battery and not have to use gas. The self-propelled feature makes mowing so much easier and being able to use the push feature when needed in tight places also is great. I look forward to using it. This is a great mower!
I've only used it once after assembling it from the box it was shipped in. I have a small (800 sq.ft.) lawn in the backyard. I charged the battery and took it for a spin. It was quiet. There was no exhaust smell to have to walk behind. There was no pulling on the string to get the gas motor started. The mower was light enough so that turning 180 degrees was easy. We have wanted a battery-electric mower for years but we were waiting for our old (23+ years old) gas mower to quit. We finally took it out front and put a "free" sign on it and it was gone in a few hours. Glad to see it go. This mower fits right in with our two EV vehicles and our solar installation. We are all electric now.
This mower is quite easy to operate and maneuver. The settings are easy to adjust. And it's much quieter than a gas mower. This mower's friction is very low, so you can use it as a push mower for level or downhill slopes and use it self-propelled for uphill slopes. That increases the battery-charge life. While using the mower entirely in self-propelled mode, I was able to mow a 1/3 acre lawn with 1-1/3 battery charges. The battery charge is clearly displayed both in the mower and in the charger. I'm very happy with this EGO product.
Nice and light plus maneuverable . I have a steep challenging back yard . I can cut the front and back on 1 charge no problem . The blade is like a fan blade it will stop immediately if it runs into something challenging so it save the blade . Full charge on charger in 40 min . Great product
Light and easy to push as well as quiet. I wish the self propel was front wheel drive instead of rear as when you are making turns it is natural to push down on the handle and lift the front end slightly to pivot. Doing that with this mower results in a bucking bronco experience. I suppose I will get used to it though. Just a matter of simultaneously taking hands away from the self propel handles for a moment while making the turn.
Bought two weeks ago and feels it functions as well as an electric can. Narrower cut than expected and self propel works ok if you don't mind walking really slow. Battery life for just over 1/4 acre performs well. Maybe not supposed to go too fast when mowing anyway
This replaced my gas-powered walk behind mower of four years. It cuts just as well, while being lighter, less noisy, and having a more powerful rear wheel drive. The battery life is excellent - I tend to mow for an hour or more at a time. The knock from 5 to 4 comes from the tread grip. Going up my pretty severe incline hill causes the front wheels to lift, whereas my former - heavier - mower did not.
