Super Powerful cutting abilitlity, no longer do I suffer from the loud noise that causes hearing damage, gasoline that spills on me and my lawn, constantly frustrated in trying to get it started so I can begin the work. What do I call the new EGO sytem, FREEDOM! Connect the battery, and go to work, in a enviroment that is not causing hearing loss.High quality equipment.
It's early yet, but it certainly is a premium product. The blower is powerful and LOUD. I need to use hearing protection when I operate it. The string trimmer is powerful and more than meets my needs. I have had to load it yet and hope that it is as easy as the instructions say so. Major upgrade for me from my previous set.
Have only used both the trimmer, and blower about 3-4 times now, but really think that they're both great. Adding the string to the trimmer is easy, cuts great, durable, and the battery allows me to get my trimming and blowing done. The blower works great as well. Would recommend looking into this brand if you're looking for lawn care equipment. Their batteries work on all their products, and I seem to get my yard work done well, with the products I have from this brand.
Items work great, assemble easily and so forth. If I had better foresight, I would have purchased the multi head tool with string trimmer attachment so as to synergize with power edger, hedge trimmer, so forth. battery lasts nice and long and so easy to use.
I bought the 610 CFM blower and 14 Inch weed eater. Both are beasts! The blower is so quiet I wonder if it even running until I point it at something I want to go away. Plus the turbo boost blows leaves half way down my 100 foot driveway. I thought I would need a blade for the weed eater to cut through some of the stuff in my unkept garden that I am trying to reclaim. I didn't need a blade. The .095 string cuts through all but very thick sunflower stalks. The runtime is very good. So far, I have not had to stop to change batteries. Both units are very well balanced and I find the weight manageable. My wife (we are 82) struggles with the weight but is still very impressed with the performance of both units. I have a 16 inch EGO chainsaw and now a weed eater and blower that I am very happy with and once again look forward to chores like weed eating when necessary.
I bought this to replace my longstanding Core line trimmer which was an amazing trimmer as well as my fairly new Milwaukee trimmer which I nor my family liked. The EGO is as close to the Core as I could find and love it. It has enough power to cover everything on the acreage, great balance, especially when paired with the 6.5ah battery, and with the heavier line, it can tackle even the heaviest of weeds. Very impressed
I bought this to use on my new lawn that was installed this summer. It has plenty of power and reach. I haven't even no turned it on high. I can destroy any weed in my lawn deep into the roots. The bump feed feature is wonderful. The fact that it came with the blower made it great. I can now clean up after mowing and edging in a few minutes. I can do my entire yard with both tools and there is battery to spare.
Trying to get away from my gas blower and trimmer I was quite impressed with this blower and it easily matches or exceeds my Echo blower. The trimmer is OK, but I liked the way my old Black and Decker auto fed the line and the head would rotate 90 degrees to do edging. After a quick trim and blow I only used 1 bar of the 2.5 AH battery. I'll probably use more when I use it to clean my Zero Turn after a mow. All-in-all it was a good purchase for me.
I purchased a week ago for the church I'm employed at and have lots of lawn to trim. I was able to get through all weed trimming on one charge. The line is great and long lasting, even in thicker weeds. The blower, while not as powerful as my backpack blower, is perfect for the smaller jobs and had no problems blowing off walks and lawn on a single charge. The battery charges fast, which is a huge plus.
I'm coming from a gas trimmer and a corded blower. The gas trimmer had much more power but was much heavier. For most jobs around the house it works well. My only complaint would be how long the battery lasts. I have a one acre lot with many small flower beds and I barely can finish when the battery dies. The blower is just as good as the corded blower I had. So far I'm happy with the performance.
