Great trimmer. I even use it to cut parts of my yard where mowers won't go. It's faster than a weed eater and makes the grass look mowed. I'm looking forward to trim boxwoods and other shrubbery next.

Sharp and cuts really well. I especially like that I can hold the unit at an angle making it much easier to reach the top of my hedges.

This tool works great for both high up trimming or for down low scythe like operations where you cant get a mower in, or along soggy areas. It is very well built but also very very heavy. If you are wondering if it might be too heavy for you, it probably is. Great complement to, but not a replacement for the handheld hedge trimmer. You can technically use this with the extension pole, but very much not reccommended in that configuration. If you can get a branch in the saw tines, this will cut it. It will also inadvertantly cut wire fence with ease, so xaution is warranted. A carbon fiber shaft version of this would be ideal.
