EGO Power+ Multi-Head System Carbon Fiber 8 in Battery Edger Attachment Tool Only, Attach Capable

This edger works great, just as good or better than a gas powered, if it last as long as a gas powered unit then no more gas powered for me

Love this edger attachment, best edger I have ever used. Lightweight and maneuverable

Pleasantly surprised with the results i get with the edger attachment.

Might seem heavy to some but when you properly adjust the shoulder strap it is very comfortable to use. Works great! The blade seems to show very little wear after 3 uses.

Just tried this new addition to my EGO arsenal, and it performs as good or better than my previous corded electric edger. Additional edger blades also are readily available. The key for me is in no longer having to tote, deploy, and then wheel in an awful lot of heavy electric cord. In addition, this tool is easier to maneuver, maintain, and store. I would recommend this tool to homeowners over either corded electric or gasoline-powered edgers.

Edger has a lot of power. It was easy to detach my string trimmer component and attach the edger component onto the powerhead. The blade shield is super easy to clean off when grass or mud gets stuck on it. Adjusting the wheel up and down is also super easy and convenient.

I bought this last year and I have been happy with the purchase. I really like that it's battery-powered and I can just switch out the battery for longer use in larger areas. No need for mixing oil/gas, no extension cord limitations. I also have the power broom and edger attachments, as well as an EGO Lawn Mower. Safe to say Im loyal to EGO at this point.

I used it for the first time this weekend and edged about 100 yards of thick grass that has started to grow onto the driveway. It took about 45 minutes and 1 4AH battery, but now that it is cleaned up, it will be much easier and quicker to maintain it.

Was worried after reading some of the negative reviews that it would be ergonomically awkward. My wife at 5'8” and I at 6'0” found there was plenty of adjustment to accommodate both our heights with plenty of adjustment to spare. Only used it once each, but with satisfactory results for each of us.

Works but could be a LOT better. a) I thought the Power Head with this ( and a trimmer ) attachment would be a great value. Turns out it is a PAIN in the butt to connect and disconnect these tools from the Power Head. I slide the end of the tool into the end of the Power Head and it almost ALWAYS fails to go in the last inch ( i.e. the drive shaft is hitting the socket instead of going into it ). Then, tired and sweaty from mowing, I have to try 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 times, jiggling the two ends just so in order to make the needed connection. b) There should be some sort of extension to the housing to guide you along the edge of the concrete, but there's not. You just have to guess, occasionally look at the blade ( unsafe to do that ), and often miss your edge either cutting into your lawn or sending sparks from when the blade hits the concrete. EGO, PLEASE fix these issues, you're better than this.
