Ego Power+ Multi-Head System String Trimmer Attachment

Ego Trimmer Attachment balances well with the battery motor unit. Easy to reload line. Easy to attach and detach for other attachment devices as needed.

Brilliant. Replaced the attachment i purchased in 2015, use wore thru the plastic head. Amazing the upgrades addressed this issue along with a more robust string cutter so I expect 20 years use, oh and I will upgrade old attachment with new head. FANTASTIC tools...

I bought this to replace my 9 year old 15" string trimmer which no longer worked properly and was out of warranty. I already had the power head with the aluminum shaft and found this attachment for a good price. It is OK but not as good as my old trimmer was before the switch broke making it only work at the highest speed. It is not quite as easy to control. It is heavier and not as well balanced. It does an adequate job but next time, Iĺl purchase a dedicated trimmer rather than an attachment for the multi-head system.

This attachment fits my power head well and does a good job of trimming the edges of my lawn.. I would have given this a five star rating except that the string guard is too narrow and the clippings are thrown back at my legs and body. I have tried searching for a larger replacement, but I cannot find one that fits.

Operates properly but cannot give it 5-stars due to, as many others have noted, the guard being too small and, in my opinion, not as substantial in construction as it could be.

Pretty good quality. The guard is a little small though and I've already been injured by flying debris.

It's early days in that I've only used it twice but I'm pretty frustrated. I had another brand of string trimmer and I was getting tired of how difficult it seemed to be to feed the line. I have several other EGO tools that I'm happy with so I decided to get the trimmer attachment and be done with my string trimmer troubles. To my dismay, the EGO string trimmer seems to have the same issue with feeding the line when I give it a bump. Today I had to stop trimming twice, remove the battery and manually pull string out. I have considered the possibility that I'm doing something wrong but the bump feed mechanism is not rocket science and I've been string trimming successfully for years until recently.

If the string head worked properly, it would be great. Unfortunately it doesn't feed the string the way it should. The nearest repair is an hour away and has a 4 month wait.

Had some initial problems getting this trimmer to attach but have figured out how to make it easier. The line feed was not working well but am hoping that will smooth out after some use

When it works it works great, however I seem to be having some problems inside the cutting head. This is causing the trimmer head to stop spinning anytime I incur increased resistance. All the other EGO tools I have have been great, so maybe just a bad unit???
