Ego Auger Propelled Snow Blower

Paul B Kansas December 5, 2025

Only used one time on a 4 inch heavy wet snow, but I was impressed how thoroughly it cleaned the driveway. A lot easier on my back ... lol. I have a little bit of a gravel approach before reaching the driveway and since Ego doesn't recommend using it on gravel, I probably should have gotten the self-propelled model but I am extremely satisfied with the model I received. The 7.5 batteries were just enough to clean my area before needing a recharge.

Impressed!!

MacinWi December 12, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With several snow falls using the EGO snowblower, I am totally surprised by the performance! With some limitations like very wet heavy snow and very deep snow, it handles normal snowfalls with ease. Had a snowfall of 5 to 6 inches and it moved snow with no problem. I think it is the perfect solution to not having to haul my big dual stage for minor snowfalls.

Please advise me how the self propelling works?

David BB November 8, 2025

I only dry started my 21inch Ego Single Stage self propelled Snowblower and not yet used it in the snow. How does the self propelling of the snow blower work because I thought it would pull along during use but I had to push it during my dry start without snow? Thanks David

So far worked great to clean my driveway

Claus15 February 8, 2026

Great machine, easy to set up. Broke my wrist this winter and decided to get a snow blower. It helped me thru a couple of heavy snow events. I cleaned my driveway even with a broken wrist. It also got thru the snow banks piled from the street snow plows and walkway plows. I am very happy with it.

POWER+ AUGER PROPELLED SNOW BLOWER

DRD57 December 10, 2025

Used the unit twice so far. During the first use, it seemed to push some snow in front of the blower leaving snow splatter where I just cleared. The snow was wet and heavy the second time, approximately 4". It cleaned the cement very good but at times did shoot snow/slush in front of the blower. The batteries died before I finished, however, this was an abnormal wet show and I didn't expect to finish without a recharge. So far, I am satisfied with the blower.

Assembly issue

Jonnyflash December 7, 2024

I only used it once, but my critiques would be more with the assembly. I am a pretty handy person and have a lot of handy friends, but do you think any of us could get the auger shoot on top to lineup the bolt holes. It was a very long struggle as the bolt holes were at least half a bolt or more off and we could not shove the shoot back any further. Eventually, with slight modifications, we managed to fenagle it in one bolt at a time. The other critique was the dual battery charger, showing an overtemp when it was cold outside . If it wasn't for a video online saying if the temp was too low that the charger would not work. A light indicating over temp when it was actually an under temp situation was confusing and since it's a snowblower, I don't know if all people would have their battery chargers in a heated location and most likely in the garage as I did . Issue was resolved by bringing the battery charger inside. I will update you once I get some time on the machine in different weather conditions.

OK initially, waiting for more snow.

Charged up snowman February 22, 2025

I live on the Colorado Front Range. Only two modest snows (about 2-inches each) since I purchased the snowblower. I bought the Ego snowblower to replace a smaller, corded snowblower. I have about 2,500 square fee of driveway and a 280-foot sidewalk along the side of my property. I'm pleased so far. No issues clearing the snow. Much faster than dealing with a cord. The charge indicators on the batteries only have four wedges, like a pie-chart. It's not possible to tell the difference between 49% and 26% or 74% vs 51%. After one clearing, I had one wedge left. After the other, two wedges. To see the charge indicators, you will have to wipe away the snow. As other reviewers have reported, there is snow that blows forward and some lands on areas just cleared--not particularly concerning. Blowing snow lands on top of the machine and later falls off in clumps. This is a litte more annoying. I tried the hand warmers once. Did not notice a significant warming of my hands. I wonder how much that reduces battery life. Recommendation: Replace wedges with digital values. If practical, a second pair of charge indicators visible from the operator position would be great.

Big job for a first use.

Snowman Joe November 22, 2024

I have used it once on very heavy wet snow. It performed well but did not throw the snow nearly as far as advertised. It only jammed up once for a 3 car probably 25 foot driveway. There was probably 22-24 inches of snow. The batteries had to be charged about 75% of the way through the job but it was wet very heavy snow.

EGO POWER SNT2125

Kitpuman November 22, 2024

I am 77 years old and I bought this EGO SNT2125 snow blower to help out with snow falls greater than 100cm. I have just used this unit for the first time and enjoyed using it. It is light weight wise and cleans all the snow to the concrete. The rubber paddles on the auger is great.

Disappointed

FredR January 8, 2026

I had two occasions to try out the Auger propelled snow blower. The first time 2 to 3 inches of wet snow, plus plowed in driveway apron. Did not throw snow well, and I experienced zero Auger assistance in propelling the blower. The second time a lighter powdery snow, 1 to 2 inches. Still poor snow throwing ability, and again zero auger assistance in moving the blower forward. All in all, a disappointing experience.
